Been staying at Toll Road the last few Winters to Ski at Stratton. Owners Mike &. Virginia are Great Hosts. What I like most is that Property & Rooms are always Spotless Clean. I’m a little Nostalgic and The Toll Road have that throwback feel, yet NEW… not like so many smaller Motels in VT that are still using Carpet, Bedding from the 60’s. HOT TUB after skiing is a PLUS… Highly suggest staying here as its the BEST VALUE in the Manchester Area

The seasonal outdoor pool provides a refreshing option during warmer weather. This balance of nostalgic charm and modern upkeep is a significant draw.
Each room is individually heated and air-conditioned, ensuring comfort in all seasons. They feature large windows, which not only allow fresh breezes to flow through but also offer the aforementioned gorgeous views of Bromley Brook, the forest, and the mountains. The interiors boast attractive details such as wooden beams in the ceiling, adding to the quaint inn aesthetic. Additionally, upper floors are accessible by stairs only, and while children of all ages are welcome, the property does not offer cribs or extra beds.
The Toll Road Inn stands out as the "BEST VALUE in the Manchester Area," as attested by returning guests who prioritize both quality and affordability. Its strategic location provides excellent access to year-round recreational activities and attractions. For winter sports enthusiasts, it's just a short drive to ski resorts like Stratton (approximately a 30-minute drive) and Bromley Mountain Ski Resort (about ten minutes away), making the hot tub a highly appreciated amenity after a day on the slopes. In warmer months, hiking and biking trails are readily accessible nearby.
Beyond outdoor adventures, Manchester Center's outlet shops, diverse restaurants, and various tourist attractions are less than two minutes away by car. Within walking distance, guests can find a favorite local diner, several fine dining establishments, and Dutton Farm Stand, known for strawberry picking in the summer and maple syrup production in the spring. Feb 04, 2025 · Chris FallettaWonderful place to stay. Front desk was prompt and friendly, and staff even had a fire going in the common room on Saturday night! The room was spacious with gorgeous wooden beams in the ceiling and a lovely view out the back of a local creek, forest, and mountain. My only complaint was that the wifi was too slow - unusable at times - during periods when the hotel was more full. Given the spotty cell service in the area, this needs to be improved! Overall, I’d definitely recommend staying here again. It’s a lovely, quaint inn that’s well taken care of!
Jan 13, 2025 · Larkin WisdomStar rating is relative. It’s not the Ritz. But the rooms were clean, big, quiet and beds were comfortable. For skiers it only 20 min from Stratton. And the restaurant choices of Manchester far far better than what in Stratton village.
