Get directionsStayed in the Saratoga Classic room this past weekend. My boyfriend and I loved it here. It is attached to a restaurant which we weren't aware of, but the restaurant is only open a couple nights a week during this season and closed early. It was extremely convenient for us to eat there and the food was delicious. Checking into The Nest felt a lot like getting into an AirBnb- no contact with a person, directions sent to your email. It was flawless as long as you are tech savvy and check your email (hence the 4-star rating). The upstairs floor has a complimentary coffee bar with a public refrigerator (and I think a microwave) for guests to utilize. The rooms do not have these things so I gave them 4-stars, but for my boyfriend and I, a public complimentary coffee area was perfectly fine as everything was well stocked. The only thing that was a bit of a bummer was that there is no elevator to the upstairs rooms, which I could see being a problem for some guests. Overall we LOVED our stay in this super clean and nicely decorated area located only 15 minutes from Broadway in Saratoga, and plan to stay again sometime this summer for a concert at SPAC or something! Don't hesitate to book this place.

Apr 24, 2025 · Andrew KujawskiWe stayed at the Nest this past weekend and it was lovely. The location is great right on the lake with a little beach area to enjoy. There is a bar/restaurant attached to it as well as a large tent with live entertainment on the weekend. Also, there is a place to rent jet skis, kayaks and pontoon boats there as well and an ice cream stand. A little problem checking in which the owner was quick to rectify in a very pleasant manner. We stayed on a Monday night and the restaurant was closed so it was super quiet. I don't think I would mind staying there when it was open at all. The upstairs rooms (3 of the 5) offer a beautiful lakefront view. All in all for the price we were very satisfied with our stay and will be staying there again in the future.
Aug 15, 2024 · Deana BilyouMy bf & I came to Saratoga to see a show and chose to stay at the Nest. We booked through Expedia and had no issues getting a confirmation. The room details email with check-in codes followed soon after, so we had no problem with getting in. We stayed in Lady on the Lake, which is a cute and clean, but little room, with a queen bed. We had an excellent view of the lake. The bathroom was also clean, with hand soap and a hand towel, which I really appreciated. There was no in-room fridge, which was okay, because the room was so small (which was fine with us), and there was a small communal corner station in the hall, with a fridge and coffee and snacks. However, I was disappointed I couldn't get ice. The room was a little chilly, and there's no thermostat, but there's a small, portable electric heater for you to use. My one complaint about the room is that the mattress was very firm and difficult to sleep on. I didn't get enough sleep. The corner station in the hallway nook is a great idea, but I was disappointed that there were no coffee cups at all. We checked the cupboards, but there were none to be found. So, I couldn't grab my morning like I was hoping to. The two snack options were chocolate chip granola bars or trailmix bars, which was okay. It would be nice to have more than 1 mini fridge, though, and the ability to get ice and someone regularly checking stock for guests. The bar downstairs was cute and cozy, and the food was amazing, but I could see how the noise for the people staying on the first floor might be bothersome.
Apr 21, 2024 · K ParkerWe absolutely love the Nest and have stayed here at least 8 times since discovering it in 2018. We have stayed in almost every room here. All nice, but different. To those noting issues with self check in. Be sure you send the correct email address. We have never had an issue. Knowing that there is a bar/restaurant on the 1st floor is important - on weekends in season, I wouldn’t recommend a 1st floor room. But 2nd floor is usually fine. On the 2nd floor, the rooms facing the lake are best. The other 2 face the road. We love be the cozy, clean and comfortable rooms as well as enjoying good food, drink and entertainment downstairs at Doc Browns.
