For those in search of "Hotels Near Of Me" within the charming locality of Goshen, NY, The Orange Inn Boutique Hotel presents itself as a notable option. Situated conveniently at 159 Main St, Goshen, NY 10924, this hotel can be easily contacted via phone at (845) 294-1881 or mobile at +1 845-294-1881. This introduction aims to provide a comprehensive and objective overview of The Orange Inn Boutique Hotel, detailing its environment, services, features, and some promotional aspects, drawing from available online information and customer feedback.
The environment of The Orange Inn Boutique Hotel offers a mixed experience, as gleaned from customer reviews. On the one hand, aspects of the hotel are described as "very nice for a local stay," suggesting a pleasant general atmosphere suitable for short-term visits. The hotel's interior decoration, at least for specific occasions like New Year's Eve, has been highlighted as "beautifully" adorned, indicating an effort to create an inviting and aesthetically pleasing ambiance. This suggests that the hotel pays attention to its visual presentation, aiming to create a welcoming and perhaps even festive setting depending on the season or event. A positive comment specifically noted the "kings suite" as "massive" and feeling "like a mini apartment," which points to spacious accommodations that can offer a sense of home-like comfort. The comfort of the bed in these rooms was also explicitly praised, indicating a focus on providing restful sleep for guests. The general cleanliness and upkeep of the property, though not explicitly detailed in all reviews, can be inferred as acceptable for a "nice local stay." However, it's also important to acknowledge that perceptions of the environment can be subjective, and a negative experience, such as feeling "completely ignored" during a special event, can significantly color a guest's overall impression of the atmosphere, shifting it from pleasant to problematic, irrespective of physical decor.
Regarding services, The Orange Inn Boutique Hotel strives to provide a comfortable experience, though consistency appears to be a key factor. A positive aspect of the service mentioned by guests is the politeness of the staff. This indicates a foundational commitment to courteous interactions, which is crucial for any hospitality establishment. When it comes to dining services, one review positively highlights that "the food came out hot and was very tasty," suggesting that the kitchen is capable of delivering satisfying meals. This is a crucial service offering, especially for a boutique hotel that might aim to provide a more intimate dining experience. However, another review offers a stark contrast, describing a "terrible experience" during a New Year's Eve dinner and overnight stay package. Issues included an inability to get table service at a reserved table, an overwhelmed wait staff, and significant delays in meal delivery, leading to guests almost missing the countdown. Furthermore, the quality of the food was inconsistent, with some dishes being "ok" and others "awful," specifically mentioning a "rancid" tasting Beef Wellington. The lack of sufficient champagne for a supposed "Champagne toast" also points to service shortcomings during a high-demand event. These contrasting experiences suggest that while The Orange Inn Boutique Hotel has the capacity to provide good service and food, there might be inconsistencies, particularly during peak times or for large-scale events, where staffing and coordination might be challenged. Therefore, the quality of service might largely depend on the specific circumstances of the guest's stay.
The features of The Orange Inn Boutique Hotel contribute to its appeal as a local accommodation option. A significant feature highlighted is the spaciousness of certain room types, particularly the "kings suite," which is described as "massive" and akin to a "mini apartment." This feature is highly desirable for guests seeking more room than a standard hotel room, potentially offering separate living areas and a greater sense of privacy and comfort during their stay. The comfort of the beds is another important feature, directly impacting guest satisfaction and rest. The hotel also offers dining services, which include providing hot and tasty food, as noted in a positive review. This makes it convenient for guests who prefer to dine on-site rather than seeking external options. The hotel also seems to offer special event packages, such as the New Year's Eve dinner and overnight stay, indicating its capacity to host and cater to specific occasions. The decor of the hotel, at least on certain occasions, is a notable feature, contributing to a pleasant aesthetic environment. For those looking for "Hotels Near Of Me" in Goshen, NY, its location on Main Street is a practical feature, offering easy access to the town's amenities and attractions. While the detailed list of amenities is not provided, the information suggests that The Orange Inn Boutique Hotel focuses on providing comfortable lodging with on-site dining options and the capability to host events, aiming to cater to both leisure and special occasion stays. The potential for certain rooms to feel like "mini apartments" is a particularly strong feature for extended stays or for guests desiring more living space.
From a promotional standpoint, The Orange Inn Boutique Hotel positions itself as a "very nice for a local stay," which appeals to individuals seeking convenient and comfortable accommodation within Goshen. The promotion of spacious rooms, such as the "massive" king suite that feels "like a mini apartment," serves as a significant draw, especially for guests prioritizing comfort and space. The hotel's ability to provide "comfortable beds" is also a direct promotional point, addressing a fundamental need for travelers. The offering of special packages, like the New Year's Eve dinner and overnight stay, indicates an effort to attract guests for specific events and celebrations, suggesting that the hotel aims to be a destination for memorable occasions. However, it is crucial for potential guests to consider the full range of feedback when evaluating promotional claims. While some aspects are clearly positive, the contrasting negative experience during a high-profile event highlights the importance of managing expectations, particularly regarding service and food consistency during peak periods. For those searching on platforms like "Hotels Near Of Me," The Orange Inn Boutique Hotel aims to provide a convenient and comfortable base in Goshen. Its promotional message emphasizes its suitability for a pleasant local stay, with comfortable accommodations and the potential for enjoyable dining, especially when the service and food meet the expected standards. The beautiful decoration for special events is also a promotional asset, aiming to create an inviting atmosphere for celebratory occasions.

Apr 27, 2025 · Kev SmithMy sister and I did the NYE dinner and overnight stay package and unfortunately, it was a terrible experience. The room was nice, the hotel was decorated beautifully but the compliments end there. We felt completely ignored, couldn't get table service at our reserved table, the 6 course meal - some of the food was "ok" and some was awful. The Beef Wellington was terrible. It tasted rancid! SO many things could have been better and they increased the price from $550 a couple to over $700 with taxes and added on gratuity of $70 that was NOT deserved. The wait staff was overwhelmed, by the time we got our meals and took dessert to go, it was 11:40! We almost missed NYE in the party room. There was not enough champagne for everyone for the "Champagne toast" that was supposed to be included. So many things wrong in addition to what I listed. Would NOT recommend!
Jan 02, 2024 · Vanessa StClairThis was our first time staying at the inn. They did a wonderful job renovating the hotel. It looks amazing. We stayed in a king room. The bed was extremely comfortable. The bathroom is beautiful. The decor is fantastic. Most importantly the room was very clean!!! The only reason I could not give it 5 stars is because there aren't any options for breakfast in the morning.
Dec 04, 2023 · KimThis hotel is a wonderful gem. Sadly I only stayed one night but if I’m ever in the area again I will definitely go back. The staff were really attentive, despite my arriving late at night due to American Airlines delaying my flight by three hours - thanks American. After waiting in line for immigration and then car rental - totalling another 2 hours 40 minutes,I was uber behind! The room was clean, tidy and was very welcome after having eventually arrived from a drive from JFK. I was so tired that I just needed to collapse into bed and wow, what an amazingly comfortable bed with sumptuous bed linen. The complimentary personal care items were fantastic also. The bathroom was lovely and spotlessly clean with a huge walk in shower. The towels were pure driven-snow white and fluffy. There was a coffee machine too. Orange Inn was my very best first ‘welcome to America’ for me on my trip. Well done Orange Inn! It isn’t rocket science to get things right. Orange Inn hit the mark and I’m not always the easiest with regards to that! If I go back I will definitely try out the bar which looked a lot of fun. I would also sample the restaurant Limoncello.
Sep 11, 2023 · Gilly WebbThe only words able to describe our stay was perfect and amazing. Everyone from the staff was amazing, professional, and very nice. All the way from Chris the general manger, to the concierge at the front desk, to the bartenders, housekeeping, and the waiters/waitresses in the connected restaurant (shoutout Danny). The king suite deluxe sofa room was more than enough room for myself, wife, and 2 year old son. The bathroom was enormous with an amazing standing shower that could probably fit 4-5 people at once. The pull out sofa being a separate sleeping space from the king size space made for great privacy, as well as a great view from the attached balcony from the third floor. The hotel was in a perfect middle being less than 10 minutes from Legoland, the Goshen horse track, and the next city over, Middletown. I plan on making this my family’s annual stay.
