BEWARE - not sure how this place is open. Disgusting - BUGS - broken fridge. NASTY flooring and bedding. I am not exaggerating when I say disgusting. Host IS RUDE (female) the male was very nice - I think it was a jealousy issue. Be prepared for a nightmare situation of bugs, broken and stained. Would rather sleep in car if ever stuck in Warren. Was told too bad when refrigerator was not working. Bathroom disgusting. Furniture not as pictured and only 2 channels on the TV. I called my timeshare and got stuck for the night while bugs crawled around on walls and ceilings (Asian lady bugs that bite). Thank God for the local White Horse Lodge owners who gave me a deal for the week at their other lodge w a kitchen so we could enjoy our ski week. I will be reporting this place to the state of Vermont and will never step foot in this place even for free!!! Hot tub at front door not commercial and overlooking Parking lot. Safety hazard from battery operated fire alarms - how is Vermont allowing this hazardous place to be open? An all around terrible, smelly, dory, falling apart place. RUN!!!

The Seasons Resort Introduce

For local users navigating the "Hotels Near Of Me" platform in search of accommodation in Warren, Vermont, The Seasons Resort, located at 1815 Vermont Rte 100, Warren, VT 05674, USA, is a property that warrants a thorough and cautious review. Based on publicly available information, particularly recent customer reviews, prospective guests should approach a booking at this resort with significant awareness of potential challenges. This introduction will synthesize information regarding its environment, reported services, stated features, and any implied promotional aspects, while critically incorporating the substantial negative feedback from recent guests.

The environment surrounding The Seasons Resort is situated on Vermont Route 100, a well-known scenic route that traverses the Mad River Valley. This region is famed for its natural beauty, particularly during the fall foliage season and winter for skiing and snowboarding, with resorts like Sugarbush and Mad River Glen nearby. While the geographical location itself offers access to the scenic splendor of Vermont and its myriad outdoor activities, the immediate environment of the resort, as described by guests, presents a less appealing picture. One review specifically notes a "hot tub at front door not commercial and overlooking Parking lot," suggesting a less-than-ideal aesthetic or private setting for certain amenities. The overall impression conveyed by guests is that the physical condition of the property itself detracts significantly from the otherwise beautiful Vermont surroundings. For users searching for "Hotels Near Of Me" with an expectation of a pristine or well-maintained environment, the available feedback suggests this may not be the case at The Seasons Resort.

Regarding services, the feedback from guests indicates significant issues. Customer service, particularly from a female host, is described as "RUDE," with one guest explicitly stating they "was told too bad when refrigerator was not working." This suggests a lack of responsiveness and willingness to resolve immediate guest issues. The check-in process also appears to be a major point of concern. Reviewers highlight "stringent check-in times" (4 pm to 7 pm), which are described as "not negotiable" and "completely inflexible." Attempts to find alternatives, such as "telephone check-in or adding on the night before," were reportedly rejected, with the explanation provided being "it's an old place" and that "only she and her husband oversee the 'resort'." Furthermore, the resort is reported to be "closed on Sunday," which creates significant logistical hurdles for guests attempting to check in on a Sunday or even the next day if they missed the initial window. This inflexibility and perceived unhelpfulness in service delivery appear to be a major detractor for guests. For those relying on "Hotels Near Of Me" for flexible and accommodating service, the reported experiences at The Seasons Resort are a critical consideration.

The stated features of The Seasons Resort, as gleaned from the negative customer experiences, paint a concerning picture. Guests report "disgusting" conditions, including "BUGS," "broken fridge," "NASTY flooring and bedding," and "stained" elements. The bathrooms are described as "disgusting." The furniture is noted as "not as pictured," indicating discrepancies between advertised appearances and reality. Entertainment options also appear limited, with only "2 channels on the TV." A significant safety concern was raised regarding "Safety hazard from battery operated fire alarms," leading a guest to question how Vermont regulators are "allowing this hazardous place to be open." Asian lady bugs that bite were explicitly mentioned as crawling on "walls and ceilings." The overall description of the property is "terrible, smelly, dory, falling apart place." These features, as reported by customers, suggest a severe lack of maintenance, cleanliness, and adherence to basic hospitality standards. While a resort typically implies a range of amenities and features for guest comfort and enjoyment, the direct feedback indicates a concerning state of disrepair and unsanitary conditions. For "Hotels Near Of Me" users expecting standard comfort and safety, these reported features are a significant red flag.

Promotional information for The Seasons Resort, if any exists, would need to be critically evaluated against the stark realities presented in customer reviews. While a resort would typically promote its location, amenities, and service quality, the available information directly contradicts a positive portrayal. The phone numbers provided, (802) 496-7669 and mobile +1 802-496-7669, would be the means for prospective guests to contact the property. However, the reviews suggest that even direct communication might not resolve issues or provide flexibility. One guest, unable to check in, reported having to book an "alternative hotel that night (over $600 for a last minute room and it was the cheapest option)" and ultimately having to "cancel" their week-long stay due to check-in restrictions and the Sunday closure. This implies a significant financial risk and logistical inconvenience for guests. The strongest "promotional" message from the reviews is a stark warning: "BEWARE," "RUN!!!", and "Please don't bother to waste your time in booking." The advice from a guest who would "rather sleep in car if ever stuck in Warren" and who is reporting the place "to the state of Vermont" serves as a severe deterrent rather than an encouragement. The contrast between typical resort promotions and these direct guest experiences is profound. For users of "Hotels Near Of Me," the "promotional" aspect becomes a cautionary tale of what to potentially avoid.

In conclusion, for local users searching the "Hotels Near Of Me" platform, The Seasons Resort at 1815 Vermont Rte 100, Warren, VT 05674, USA, presents a highly problematic picture based on recent customer reviews. While its location offers access to the natural beauty of the Mad River Valley, the reported condition of the property—described as "disgusting," "bug-infested," "broken," and "smelly"—raises serious concerns about cleanliness, safety, and overall habitability. The services, particularly concerning check-in inflexibility and unresponsive customer service, appear to contribute to a "nightmare situation" for guests. The discrepancy between advertised features and reality, combined with reported safety hazards, leads to strong recommendations from past guests to "RUN!!!" and "don't bother to waste your time in booking." Prospective guests should exercise extreme caution and consider these objective, albeit highly negative, reviews before making any booking decisions for The Seasons Resort.

I would give zero stars if that was an option. I never made it to the resort because of their check-in restrictions. The website I booked through stated to contact the resort for further instructions if you could not make the stringent check in times. The time frame is 3 hours long from 4pm to 7pm - during which time I was to be in a wedding as a bridesmaid. When I spoke with the owner she told me this was not negotiable. I offered many alternatives including telephone check-in or adding on the night before and was told that this was completely inflexible, "it's an old place." She stated that only she and her husband oversee the "resort". So I booked an alternative hotel that night (over $600 for a last minute room and it was the cheapest option). I expected that I would at least be able to check in the next day at the designated check-in times... I called back and was told that, that also was not an option because they are closed on Sunday. I'm not sure how anyone ever really manages to stay at this resort. I was supposed to stay for a week and ended up having to cancel. I was fortunately able to book a last minute alternative but at a much higher cost than initially invested. Please don't bother to waste your time in booking. Based on the reviews about safety and cleanliness it's not worth the hassle at any price.

This resort is getting very dated with old furnishings and tiny appliances yet we continue to return. Although appliances were old, they worked. Bathrooms had some unsightly peeling and chipping paint and noticed some mold around tub and tiles. It was unfortunate can't bring in skis or boarding equipment for quick repairs or thawing. But hey, we were not staying here to lounge around our room but here for its close proximity to nearby ski and recreational resorts without costing us a fortune so worth the stay at least for its location and for privacy. The hot tub is oddly kept on front porch but at least they have one and it was clean and hot. We did appreciate that our room was always warm and toasty during brutally figid winters, was spacious after temporarily rearranging furniture, had decent wifi, and those running the place were super nice and helpful.

Unfortunately we did not have a good experience here. The only positive is that the owners are friendly and kind, but that doesn't make up for all the negatives. The room was certainly clean and it was nice that there was a porch to sit on, but that's about it for benefits. There is no AC. And there are no fans! This causes you to leave your windows open at all times and because the walls are very thin you can hear everything going on outside. It was very difficult to sleep even with minimal noise because there's nothing to deaden the sound. I slept on the pull out couch which was horrible, as is expected with couches. But the pillows provided were extremely thin and definitely should be replaced. My mom slept on the bed which was only a full- would definitely be difficult to fit two people on it. She said the bed was very hard and she hardly slept the whole time we were there. I checked out the pool briefly- it was tiny and unheated so I didn't go in. The hot tub is located DIRECTLY where everyone enters the front door so I felt uncomfortable using it. Who wants to enjoy a hot tub in front of everyone passing by? If you ask for anything- toilet paper, tissues, etc. - they will constantly remind you that they will not enter the room until you leave, so don't expect your bed to be made or even your trash can emptied while you stay there. No dish washer, and not even a drying rack so I have no idea how they expect you to wash anything. The bathroom is tiny and the water pressure in the shower is non existent. No elevators, so you have to drag your suitcase up and down stairs. Really would not recommend this place.

Not only is this place less than advertised, the owners are abrupt and rude when confronted with guests' needs. The only thing this place has going for it is the fsct that its clean. The 'suites' are tiny, with kitchens that are too small to be comfortable cooking in. The bathroom is so small that you have to wedge yourself next to the toilet to open and close the door. You will be charged $185 if you are 15 minutes late for checkout, no matter the circumstances. The rule list is full of threats of eviction. One gets the feeling that the owners are only concerned with having to do less. Go anywhere else. This is the only bad experience I have ever had in VT. Seriously, ANYWHERE else.
