Don't stay here. When we got here no one was running the desk and took over 20 mins for someone to help us. We check in and take our kids to the pool to find out that it was not working and no one told us. Coming out from the pool area there is cops roaming the halls and then fire trucks show up and the staff says nothing to the guests about what is going on. We had the hotel booked for 2 nights but only stayed about 2hrs and checked out and went to a different and better hotel. I want to to find corporate number to register complaint and get my money back.
When searching for "Hotels Near Of Me" in the picturesque Lehigh Valley region of Pennsylvania, particularly around Easton and Bethlehem, the TownePlace Suites Bethlehem Easton/Lehigh Valley often appears as a suitable option. Located at 3800 Nazareth Rd, Easton, PA 18045, USA, this Marriott-branded property aims to cater to guests seeking comfortable, apartment-style accommodations, especially for extended stays.
The hotel's environment is designed to offer a residential feel, distinguishing it from traditional hotels. As a TownePlace Suites property, it emphasizes spacious accommodations with fully equipped kitchens, a significant feature for travelers who prefer to prepare their own meals, whether for budgetary reasons or dietary needs. The exterior typically presents a modern, functional design, with ample parking for guests. The interior common areas, such as the lobby and breakfast area, are generally styled to be inviting and comfortable, suitable for both relaxation and casual work. The telephone number for inquiries is (610) 829-2000, and the mobile number is +1 610-829-2000.
The key feature of the TownePlace Suites brand is its focus on extended-stay amenities. This translates to guest rooms that are more akin to studio or one-bedroom apartments rather than standard hotel rooms. Guests can expect separate living and sleeping areas, well-lit work stations, and most notably, a full kitchen equipped with a refrigerator, stovetop, microwave, dishwasher, and essential kitchenware like dishes and silverware. This setup is particularly beneficial for families, business travelers on long assignments, or anyone looking for a home-away-from-home experience. Reviews often highlight the spaciousness and the convenience of having a kitchen, making it ideal for those who value self-sufficiency during their travels.
Beyond the in-room amenities, the hotel typically offers a range of services and facilities common to extended-stay properties. A complimentary breakfast is generally included, providing guests with a convenient start to their day. While some guests have noted the breakfast options can be fewer compared to other hotels, it still offers a basic but sufficient meal. Other standard amenities often include complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the property, a fitness center for guests to maintain their exercise routines, and laundry facilities, which are essential for longer stays.
However, it is important to address some significant concerns raised in guest reviews, which provide an objective perspective on potential issues. One recurring theme is related to the pool. Multiple guests expressed disappointment over the pool being closed or out of service upon their arrival, despite it being a primary reason for their booking, especially for families with children. This suggests inconsistency in pool availability, which is a critical piece of information for prospective guests. It is highly advisable for anyone considering this hotel, particularly for its recreational facilities, to confirm the operational status of the pool and hot tub directly with the hotel prior to booking.
Another area of concern highlighted by a review was the initial check-in experience, where the front desk was unattended for an extended period, leading to a frustrating wait. Additionally, a highly unusual and concerning incident involved law enforcement and fire trucks at the property, with a perceived lack of communication from staff to guests about the situation. Such occurrences, if not properly managed or communicated, can significantly impact a guest's sense of security and overall satisfaction. While these might be isolated incidents, they are serious enough to warrant consideration for potential guests.
On the positive side, beyond the kitchenettes and spacious rooms, the hotel generally provides a pet-friendly environment, which is a valuable feature for travelers with companions. There are also mentions of friendly and helpful staff in other reviews, which contrasts with the specific negative experiences cited above, indicating that service quality might vary. The hotel's location is generally considered good, being situated between the historic towns of Bethlehem, Easton, and Nazareth, and offering proximity to local attractions such as the Crayola Experience, Lafayette College, and potentially businesses in the Lehigh Valley.
Regarding promotional information, like many Marriott properties, the TownePlace Suites Bethlehem Easton/Lehigh Valley would likely participate in the Marriott Bonvoy loyalty program, allowing guests to earn and redeem points for stays. Potential guests are advised to check the official Marriott website or reputable travel aggregators for current promotions, discounted rates for extended stays, or special packages that might include attractions or local experiences. Direct booking often provides the best rates and flexibility. Seasonal offers, corporate rates, and discounts for specific affiliations (e.g., AAA, AARP) are also commonly available. Given the extended-stay nature, promotions might also include lower weekly or monthly rates.
In conclusion, the TownePlace Suites Bethlehem Easton/Lehigh Valley is positioned as a suitable option for those seeking "Hotels Near Of Me" with apartment-style accommodations in the Easton, PA area. Its strengths lie in its spacious suites with fully equipped kitchens, providing a convenient and cost-effective solution for longer visits. However, prospective guests, especially those traveling with families or planning to utilize the pool, should proactively verify the availability and operational status of key amenities. While some reviews indicate areas for improvement in service consistency and incident management, the hotel's core offering of comfortable, self-sufficient lodging remains a significant draw for many travelers to the Lehigh Valley.

May 14, 2025 · Thomas DelozierPretty disappointed in my recent stay. We took the kids for the pool and made the reservation online. Once we arrived we found out the pool was closed again. Wish we would have known sooner. The rooms are okay and clean otherwise. Decent size
May 06, 2025 · Lynn LynnHot water heater was “broken” all week. I don’t think they have plans to fix it. My pregnant wife and baby had to take cold showers. Finally started to boil water on the stove for sponge baths. Could smell pot coming into room at times. Breakfast was terrible. Cold. Rude people. Had to go to Wawa each morning for food. Hotel worker cleaned lobby toilet and walked with toilet scrub brush all the way back down the hallway to cleaning cart dripping toilet water everywhere. Room had no usb ports for charging. I travel 12 weeks a year. Seen a lot of Marriott hotels. This is by far the worst. Never will I stay here again. Strongly considering switching to competitor.
Mar 13, 2025 · Ryan TrittenbachI have stayed here twice and had horrible experiences both times with facilities and staff. First time there were no pillows in the room for the pull out sofa and I was told there were no available pillows in the entire hotel by front desk staff Christian. I was told the best option would be to go to Walmart and buy pillows. Then on my most recent experience there was no hot water in my room. When I asked the front desk manager she replied well everyone is probably trying to shower at the same time and laughed. She had extreme attitude but said I was the one causing the problem. Do not stay here. The rooms smell musty, the facilities are falling apart wall and ceiling patches, and on top of the that the staff is horrible. I will never be back.
Dec 14, 2024 · Dan AdamsonExcellent staff and accommodating of pets. The facilities are a little old and could do with upgrades, including the plumbing. Located near major intersections if you are looking for ease of travel, but not quiet.
