To start off, the staff was great and no issues whatsoever. Stayed with an employee rate as I work for Marriott so I can never complain about value I am getting. With that being said, THE WORST and SMALLEST breakfast area I have ever seen. Two hot food options that were the same on consecutive nights on the Weekend, no rotation. One waffle maker, highlight of breakfast, that had at least 3/4 people waiting in line to use it and mind you it takes over 3 minutes to make one serving. The dining area for breakfast is the smallest I have also ever seen. You have to stay at this property to actually understand how small both breakfast and the breakfast dining area truly are, especially if you have traveled to ANY other major hotel you can compare to. The rooms are modern and nice, no complaints. Comfy bed, clean room all around, nice headboard on the bed. Another huge issue I had was NOT the hotels fault, but very inconvenient. My room was facing the parking lot, and I kid you not, starting around 3am until around 9am on a Friday night a cars alarm was going off. This was for 20 minutes straight on and off the entire night, with Maybe 5-10 min breaks in between, I assume the guests car alarm was malfunctioned and it went off nonstop without anyone actually breaking into it. Major inconvenience but the hotel did offer a room transfer to the other side of the property when we informed them of the issue.

A key feature is the complimentary buffet breakfast, which includes hot food options. However, reviews indicate that the breakfast area is notably "THE WORST and SMALLEST breakfast area I have ever seen," with limited hot food choices that may not rotate frequently, and a single waffle maker leading to significant wait times. This feedback suggests that while breakfast is included, guests should manage their expectations regarding variety and space during peak hours. The features of the guest rooms and suites are a major draw for guests at TownePlace Suites. The hotel offers various suite configurations, including studios and one-bedroom suites, all designed to be modern and spacious. A defining characteristic of TownePlace Suites is the fully equipped kitchen in every unit, which typically includes a full-sized refrigerator/freezer, stovetop, microwave, dishwasher, and essential kitchenware. Guest rooms are described as "modern and nice" with "comfy beds" and "clean rooms all around." They feature premium bedding, sofa beds (available in many units, providing extra sleeping space), a desk with an ergonomic chair, and a 32-inch flat-screen TV with premium satellite channels. While one review mentioned a less conventional layout where the bathroom is off the bedroom rather than the front door, potentially disturbing others, the overall design aims for comfort and functionality. Rooms are equipped with air conditioning, an in-room safe, and complimentary toiletries. The hotel also offers accessible rooms with features such as roll-in showers or adapted tubs, and is committed to being a smoke-free property.

The hotel promotes itself as a suitable option for "extended stays, relocation, or vacations." The positive feedback on staff quality and room comfort, despite the noted limitations of the breakfast area, contributes to its overall appeal. Feb 18, 2025 · Patty & LexiThe only hotel chain I can tolerate the mattress and sleep in. Thank you. Please continue to use the same mattresses. I'm allergic to others and get heart symptoms, usually from formaldehyde being used as a fire retardant. Very clean. Staff was nice. I was not a fan of the layout here. In other hotels the bathroom is by the front door, this one it's near the head of the bed off the bedroom. It was disturbing the other person sleeping to use the bathroom during the night. The kitchen in other hotels has it's own room, this hotel it's the hallway. Not a fan but it's ok for 1 night. Quiet, no doors slamming all night like other chains which I love. I could hear people walking on the floor above, however.
Mar 26, 2025 · Kimberlee HowellA solid 3 stars. Could have been better. Was awaken by an annoying staff member at 8 am talking on the phone outside my room. He should be fired. 4/27/25 8am outside room 130.
Apr 27, 2025 · Neil MyerWe recently stayed (11-07-24) at this property, we had a conference near by, Stephanie the group sales rep was amazing and we all left with very positive feelings and experiences, I can recommend staying at this property and working with Stephanie if you have a group, without hesitation.
Nov 09, 2024 · Bob PaineNormally I book online, but my friend passed away suddenly and my wife and I needed a place to stay that night so that we be close to his wife, also our close friend. So I called Marriott Bonvoy to book a room at this location and the representative let me know they had several rooms available and asked me to pick which type we wanted. So we completed the booking over the phone and I received a confirmation email. While visiting his grieving widow I received a phone call at 5pm informing me that they no longer had a room available. I explained my situation and they said "sorry, we don't have a room for you". Marriott service has been going downhill for a while. I've had status with Marriott for a long time, including having their credit card, and rarely do I receive the "Room upgrade" perk, or many of the other perks. I think it may be time to switch to Hilton. Perhaps loyalty goes both way with their hotels. -Mark
