Stayed here for a wedding and we had a great time. The cabin we stayed in was rustic and very well kept. There's no A/C or ceiling fans, but there are outlets if you want to plug in a fan (provided). If you're looking for a cabin experience then I would give the room 5 stars. The beef at the wedding was absolutely amazing and the service was very friendly. This place was a great choice for a wedding; I couldn't recommend it enough!

The environment at Twin Lake Village is a significant part of its enduring appeal. Nestled on the shore of Little Lake Sunapee, the resort spans over 200 acres of picturesque hillside woods and rolling fields. This natural setting provides a tranquil and beautiful backdrop, encouraging guests to disconnect from daily life and immerse themselves in the serene New Hampshire landscape. The resort embraces an "old-fashioned" resort feel, which means guests can expect rustic charm rather than ultra-modern luxury. The presence of a private beach directly on the lake, alongside expansive grounds with whispering pines, contributes to a peaceful and idyllic atmosphere. It's a place where guests can enjoy the brisk and clean waters of Little Lake Sunapee and the crisp blue skies, offering an oasis from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
Twin Lake Village operates on an all-inclusive model, a rarity in modern hospitality, which covers lodging, three meals daily, and a wide array of activities. This approach allows guests to focus entirely on relaxation and enjoyment without worrying about extra costs for most on-site amenities. The meals are served in the hotel dining room, with menus that change daily, ensuring variety. While specific details on the cuisine style are not extensively detailed, one guest specifically praised the "beef at the wedding absolutely amazing," suggesting quality catering. It's noted that liquor is not allowed in the dining room, but guests can often bring their own wines for pre-dinner gatherings on the veranda.
Accommodation at Twin Lake Village comes in various forms, including traditional hotel rooms, 2 or 3-bedroom suites, and private cottages. Reviews describe the cabins as "rustic and very well kept." It's important to note that many accommodations do not have A/C or ceiling fans, aligning with the "old-fashioned" theme, though outlets are provided for guests to plug in their own fans if desired (or sometimes fans are provided). While lodgings might be described as "basic," they typically feature knotty pine wainscoting and a mix of antique furniture, including wooden dressers and wicker lounge and rocking chairs, contributing to the nostalgic ambiance. Cottages can be quite spacious, often with multiple bedrooms, a living room, and balconies overlooking the lake. Wireless internet access is available in the hotel lobby and sitting rooms, but generally not in individual rooms, encouraging a digital detox and more interpersonal interaction.

Aug 28, 2024 · Ghost RepI have been going here since I was a little kid. If you are looking for an all-inclusive traditional New England getaway, look no further. The Villa has a nine-hole golf course that guests can use. It has a boathouse with kayaks, canoes, paddle boards, and even Sunfish sailboats. The Villa also has a private beach and tennis courts to play on with shuffleboard. I cannot say enough about what a great family getaway this can be, especially if you are looking for a great place to vacation with your extended family as well. What a wonderful place.
