We rented a cottage for a family wedding. The groom's mother warned that I should reserve quickly - and I'm glad I did! The cottages were easy to find, easy to access, and spotless. The beds were comfortable. The coffee maker worked. So did the air conditioning (via mini split and ceiling fan). The water pressure (always important for me) was great. The wifi access took a couple of tries - but it usually does with my computer, and it worked great when I was in. I only wish we had had more time to spend at the cottages - but it was a quick trip for us, so we had to leave without really enjoying the area. I'd return any time!

The features of Sunapee Harbor Cottages are what truly make them stand out. There are six beautiful, year-round vacation cottages, each offering a unique blend of modern comfort and New England charm. The cottages are designed with an open-concept living space, featuring cathedral ceilings and exposed beams that evoke a cozy, rustic yet refined atmosphere. While sizes may vary, with some cottages offering approximately 500 square feet and the largest, Cottage #1, boasting around 900 square feet, they are thoughtfully laid out to maximize comfort. Standard cottage features often include a queen bed on the first floor and an open loft area with multiple twin beds, comfortably accommodating up to five guests. Cottage #1, being larger, may offer a private bedroom with a queen bed and an additional queen and twin in the loft. Air conditioning, often via mini-split units and ceiling fans, ensures comfort during warmer months, while a charming propane-fired wood stove or gas stove provides warmth and ambiance for cooler seasons. An important and appreciated feature, as noted by a reviewer, is the great water pressure in the full bathrooms, which come stocked with plush towels, body wash, shampoo, and conditioner. Free Wi-Fi access is available, ensuring guests can stay connected. A highlight of each cottage is its wonderful front porch, furnished with rocking chairs, perfect for enjoying the beautiful landscaping, views of the adjacent park, and glimpses of the lake and marina. Many porches also feature a private gas grill, ideal for outdoor cooking and leisurely evenings. The shared lawn area often provides additional views of the lake and harbor, with picnic tables for al fresco dining.

Aug 07, 2024 · Karin MorinI almost don’t want to write a review, because i don’t want the world to discover what a gem this place is!!! Our family rented 4 of the 6 cottages for our stay, and it was fabulous. It was all the benefits of staying together in one big house (coffee on the porches, kids playing on the lawn, gathering in cottage 1 for game night), yet everyone had their own space- their own bedrooms, bathrooms, etc. The cottages are immaculate, comfortable, and well stocked, and the location is ideal! Stephanie was wonderful to work with. Loved every second!
Jul 14, 2024 · Melissa KaplanOur family rented 5 of the 6 cottages for a family reunion. The location , the cottages, and the service were all amazing. We had 9 children and 10 adults at the cottages and there was plenty of room for all. We especially enjoyed grilling out and time at the Harbor. Our parents had a boat at this Harbor years ago so this area holds wonderful family memories for us all. Thank you , Stephanie , for your gracious hospitality . Your clean , adorable cottages were enjoyed by all ages of our group.
Jun 30, 2024 · carol mongerOh my, I don't think there's enough room to write all the good things about our stay here. We hit right about 10 days before the summer season started. Had some cool weather and some warm. If it was cool, we lit the little propane stove provided in our cottage and if it was warm we turned on the overhead fan or the minisplit. This was as clean as a pin, stylish, a full kitchen which saved us a lot of money to do all the other things we wanted to do. There are many things within walking distance. We rocked in our chairs on the front porch and pretended the world didn't exist! And...Stephanie, the owner, was as sweet as could be and efficient too. Great stay.
Jun 15, 2024 · Kathy “bookdiva”Recently relocating from Colorado, I opted to stay at Sunapee Harbor Cottages, because I thought I could have a iconic New England experience for my transition. Little did I know just how special my time there would be. The tidy complex of cozy, light-filled houses sits just above the public harbor and affords a view of an idyllic village and the pristine, peaceful lake amid a verdant forested setting. Every day there was a magnificent skyscape, which I could view through the cottage windows, on the porch, at the nearby water's edge, or from my bed in the loft. An ideal host, Stephanie has designed the interior to a high spec with hygge details that made me feel comfortable and at home. Having had a nomadic life for many months, I appreciated the little extra she provided like professionally cleaned sheets and an up-to-date kitchenette. She maintains the property to a high standard and is responsive to and respectful of your needs. What a wonderful place to get away by yourself or with friends and family!
