Overall a good stay. I paid ~$75 for a king room for 1 night. The staff was super friendly, and the bed was very comfortable. Unfortunately my room had a bit of difficulty with the doors closing all the way, so you had to make sure you held the door closed and heard a click. Breakfast was good other than the potatoes - I saw someone else said they were "luke warm" and I think that's a fair descriptor. I also didn't have any soap or shampoo in the dispensers, which I didn't complain about to the staff since I happened to have my own toiletries. Just a bit of a culmination of the small things, hence the 4-star review.

Well, tonight is the 4th of July, and I was just getting ready to sleep in my pet friendly hotel. Just then, a barrage of fireworks from just outside my window in the parking lot. My dog starts freaking out. I wait for 20-30 minutes thinking "surely they'll stop soon!" They do not stop. They increase in severity, rapidity, and duration. I call the front desk. I ask them if they are aware people are lighting off fireworks in their parking lot. They ask me where I am (weird question). They informed me that the owners are the ones lighting off the fireworks. They say, and I quote, "Sorry, Buddy." It is absolutely unacceptable. They are still in the parking lot, lighting off fireworks as I write this review. I guess I won't be sleeping for a while tonight. Maybe tomorrow? Who can say?! Edit to add: The "hot breakfast" here is *barely edible*. It tastes like bad prison food, and I should know. I've had bad prison food. I wish I could say I was joking or exaggerating. I'm truly not. The biscuits definitely came out of a bag precooked, and then they were steamed afterward. The gravy was worse than flavorless. It was somehow flavorless while tasting bad at the same time. I forced the biscuits and gravy down with some hot sauce. The eggs were 100% powdered eggs, and they were sitting in about 1/4 inch of water, with no grate to separate them out. I did not finish those. The sausages were gray. I've never seen gray sausages. I took a bite out of morbid curiosity. They were somehow lukewarm even though they had just been put out. They had hardly any flavor at all. I did not eat any more of those. The potatoes, somehow, were actually quite good. No notes on those. If you stay here, stick to the cold cereal, oatmeal packets, prepackaged pastries, and waffles, which you can prepare yourself. Better yet, don't stay here. I won't again.

We had a great stay at Windsor Place Inn. Our group of 8 with 4 separate rooms could not be happier. The check in was fast with very friendly accommodating staff! The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The complimentary breakfast of biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs and seasoned potatoes really topped it off! A coffee/espresso machine that makes lattes was much appreciated by me :). Along with the cereal, waffle maker, fruit etc. for what we paid for the night I am thoroughly impressed. Would definitely stay here again.

Staff was friendly and courteous. Breakfast was poor - lukewarm over cooked potatoes, biscuits and gravy, waffles were the only hot items. No eggs or meat, even hard boiled eggs. A few processed, packaged items and apples. The coffee was Keurig only and the light was on next to "descale" so that was a no thank you. Bed was comfy enough. Room was spacious. There was a light on the building outside right over the window. It was not very quiet, for a Thursday night in April. But on the whole, it was good enough for the price.
