2 Strikes and the Wingate is OUT! Our first stay was problematic due to the the doors card readers failing to recognize our key cards. We were constantly getting locked out of the building and our room. We decided to give them a second chance and this stay was a nightmare coupled with POOR customer service. We paid for 2 rooms and requested ground floor for our elderly handicap family member and the hotel could only give us a 3rd floor room. Hours after check in, The entire hotel lost ALL POWER from 5:30 pm until 10:30pm. Once the power was restored..the FIRE alarm drove everyone outside for an hour while the fire department reset their system. Finally at midnight we were able to rest. Next Morning I call the front desk to request late checkout and the staff told me that late checkout would cost us an additional $25. ARE YOU KIDDING ME???. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY STAYING HERE.

May 18, 2025 · Bryan ErwinTotally enjoyable exp. For my needs, being close to the airport was a must, and the price I believe is fair for a one night stay. Plan to take advantage of the amenities. The hot tub was a personal favorite 🤘🏽 comp breakfast was about what you can expect for a comp breakfast. Staff does a really good job keeping the place looking nice IMO 👌
Mar 12, 2025 · Joel RingleroWe met friends and reserved a total of two rooms. Neither room (adjacent) had a functioning a/c. When we reported the problem to the front desk, we were told at about 4:30 PM that maintenance was gone for the day and we could not change rooms because we had "touched it." Well of course we touched it. How else would we ascertain that the room was not cooling properly? I don't make it a habit to storm the front desk even though a huge light over the indoor pool was blinking wildly and I had to keep the curtains shut the entire time. I was trying to patiently wait for the a/c to start cooling. It never did, so the night was warm and sticky. The breakfast bar, for a value hotel, was better than I expected, and the person attending the kitchen seemed to be the one employee who cared (unlike the person at check out who was unfazed that she couldn't print me a receipt). I expected the hotel to be older and/or outdated, and I initially appreciated the bargain price. But a hotel room without a/c, or anyone to even care about the a/c, is not a bargain at any price.
Apr 01, 2025 · S HassenOutside of the location this hotel was EXTRMELY disappointing. Probably one of the worst I have been in. (As far as suites go and for the price) I got the King Suite for 150. To start with at check in they offer a late check out for a fee. I had trouble doing the online check in (ID photo issues) so when I checked in I asked to pay for the late check out. The lady doubled the price and when I told her the 2pm was only 25 online she advised well its always been 50. I just said its fine ill just do 12 and walked away. Later I got a phone call advising actually we can do 2pm for 25 after all. The room: the room has so many issues. Suite is a stretch. Its stretched out and adds more space sure but there's nothing in it. A small tiny little desk and couch with a TV nearly smaller than the one by the bed. Most of the space is empty. The bathroom is the exact same as every other room and mine was broken with water spraying everywhere and shooting across the tub (see video). Hope you can bend down, because the towels and everything else are VERY low to the ground under the sink (in photo) so if you got a larger room for mobility reasons youre out of luck. The bed! my feet hang off the edge like it does when I slept on a queen. Measured it, (happened to have a tape measurer handy) does come a bit short of standard king sized but its closer to king than queen so i guess its king. the bedding is thin, called the front desk to ask for a additional comforter (no room phone btw) and they said they do not have any so I guess I hope none ever get damaged. Does leave me with questions about how they wash them daily. Had to fight to get a small brown blanket to use as well. Also I dont know how but somehow the hottub is colder than the pool, the jets also dont work. Brought this up with the front desk and was advised they had a part broken. No consideration to advise guests of this or am I just a bit picky idk maybe thats just me but that was one of the big reasons I booked this place.
Jun 14, 2025 · Joe WMy husband and I stayed at this property on May 15th. The TV did not work, and the property was not very clean. We were supposed to stay at this hotel again on the 17th. Due to these issues, we canceled the 17th directly with the front desk but still were charged for two nights. I spent 13 minutes on the phone trying to get a refund, only to be told they could not locate the reservation, even with a confirmation number. Then, once our information was located in their system, they could not help us. I was then told to call back on Monday to speak with a manager. Ugh! They could quickly charge us TWICE, but not satisfactorily nor promptly fix their error. Stay away from this property!
