May 25, 2025 · Jennifer SteeleThis has always been one of the places with the best views. It’s pure Appalachian- no big chain hotel. This place was almost knocked out by Helene but the owner refused to give up. He has battled for every step of progress made and Alpine Inn is building back better! One building has completed renovation. One building will be removed and replaced. To any outsiders who have no clue what we’ve been through, please understand that nothing here in our neck of the woods is the same. We’ve come a long way and we have a long way still to go, but Helene couldn’t take the most valuable things from us, our majestic mountains, our cool evening breeze, our spectacular sunsets, and our determination to survive and keep going. Come be a part of history and stay a night in this quaint little inn with breathtaking views. May God continue to bless the Alpine Inn as they continue to bring a spirit of Hope to our mountains. Thank you for never giving up!
May 18, 2025 · Tami SchultzAmazing owners, with a heart of Gold! Renovations are beautiful! Hard working folks are continually rebuilding themselves, after Helene took the entire business away & washing it down the mountainside! Amazing views & even an awesome food truck that’s serving food from scratch! Couldn’t ask for a more fulfilling experience!
May 17, 2025 · EllenMarie PringleI've been watching your progress since day one of the damage that hurricane Helene posed on your area and specifically your property. I think it's wonderful how you've been able to come back as much as you have and restored as much as you have in such a small amount of time with what little resources you have. I looked at your website and considered staying there however, it's alittle out of my way during this trip. I think your improvements are awesome. I only hope the best for you and kudos to you for all the hard work you've done!
May 18, 2025 · Sheila GriggsRooms have been completely renovated since the natural disaster that devastated that area and they are absolutely beautiful! Great job doing so much in such little time especially after a natural disaster. Will definitely be recommending! It’s a beautiful property with amazing owners!
