Lemon Tree Inn Introduce

Hello, fellow North Carolina adventurers! If you're planning a trip to the stunning Blue Ridge Mountains, particularly around the charming town of Spruce Pine, you might be looking for a comfortable and value-driven place to rest your head. We'd like to introduce you to the Lemon Tree Inn, a hotel that's gaining a reputation among locals for its genuine hospitality and ongoing commitment to guest satisfaction.

Spruce Pine itself is a delightful gateway to many mountain treasures, known for its rich mining history, vibrant arts scene, and incredible outdoor opportunities. The Lemon Tree Inn aims to be your welcoming base as you explore everything this beautiful region has to offer.

What truly sets the Lemon Tree Inn apart, as highlighted by recent guests, is the dedication of its new owners. One reviewer enthusiastically shared, "New owners are super nice. Quick and efficient check in even after hours. Room show some updates, and I thought reasonably priced. You can tell the owners are putting in the work to fix it up the property." Another detailed their positive experience, noting, "Very clean room, easily accessible for elderly mom on oxygen. Very quiet and comfy. AC worked great, beds didn't look comfy but mom and I both slept well. Curtis, the owner, checked us in, walked up to room and even carried in the heaviest of the luggage/medical equipment. Very hospitable, friendly, and accommodating. I would recommend. Absolutely no bugs, spiders, or mold in 240. Carpet looked stained but my white socks were still very white after several trips around the room, to and from bathroom and to door, even around the beds and chairs by window."

These reviews paint a clear picture: while the Lemon Tree Inn is a budget-friendly option and is currently undergoing renovations, the focus on cleanliness, comfort, and exceptional owner hospitality shines through. Guests appreciate the quiet atmosphere and the evident effort being put into updating the property. The personal touch from owner Curtis, going so far as to assist with luggage, truly exemplifies the kind of warm welcome you can expect. Promotions or Special Offers

The Lemon Tree Inn, as an independently owned and operated hotel undergoing renovations, may not participate in large chain-wide loyalty programs or frequent, publicly advertised promotions in the same way. However, you can often find value and potential offers directly through them or via online booking platforms.

  • Direct Booking Savings: Often, calling the hotel directly or checking their own website (if available) can lead to the best available rates, as they avoid third-party commissions. You might inquire about any direct booking incentives they offer.

  • Seasonal Rates: Like many mountain destinations, prices in Spruce Pine can fluctuate with the seasons. Traveling during the off-peak times (e.g., late fall to early spring, excluding holidays) might yield lower rates.

  • Extended Stay Discounts: If you plan to stay for multiple nights, especially a week or more, it is always worth asking if the hotel offers any discounts for extended stays. This can be common for properties that cater to longer visits.

  • Online Travel Agency (OTA) Deals: Keep an eye on popular online travel agencies like Expedia, Booking.com, and Hotels.com. They sometimes run flash sales or package deals that might include the Lemon Tree Inn. However, it's often best to compare these with direct rates.

  • Inquire About Group Rates: If you are traveling with a larger family group or a small club, contacting the hotel directly to inquire about potential group rates could be beneficial.

  • Value for Price: While not a "promotion" in the traditional sense, the consistent feedback about the Lemon Tree Inn being "reasonably priced" and a "good value" means that even at standard rates, guests often feel they are getting a good deal for the quality of stay, especially considering the dedicated service.

For the most current information on pricing and any potential offers that might be available for your specific travel dates, your best approach is to call the Lemon Tree Inn directly at (828) 765-6161. Very clean room, easily accessible for elderly mom on oxygen. Very quiet and comfy. AC worked great, beds didn't look comfy but mom and I both slept well. Curtis, the owner, checked us in, walked up to room and even carried in the heaviest of the luggage/medical equipment. Yes people say its in need of updates and it could use some but overall the charge is around 100 but they do have to pay the bills. Very hospitable, friendly, and accommodating. I would recommend. Absolutely no bugs, spiders, or mold in 240. Carpet looked stained but my white socks were still very white after several trips around the room, to and from bathroom and to door, even around the beds and chairs by window. I will come back.

If I can leave a negative review i would. We booked the room two days before. We showed up that night at 1230 am. The room wasn't even cleaned. Garbage wasn't emptied or anything else. We were charged extra for for a service dog that is registered and I have the paperwork for. There are cameras just laying around. Not even mounted. Who knows what they want too watch today? If I ever come to this area again and there isn't any rooms available i we will sleep in the car. It would be much safer and cleaner. With everything going on these days I thought all hotels would do there best because of safety issues but I guess not!!

It is a nice place to stay. I think the owner really makes this places charm. It is an old building...not one of those fancy places for sure....but it is clean, quiet, and comfortable. The owner is a sweet, friendly person who appreciates his guests. He'll make breakfast for you...and offer a drink of your choice. I had a wine cooler and a nice visit as soon as I arrived. He was.cery kind to my dog, and truly has a nice heart. Not a fancy place for sure..but very welcoming and the price is right.

I found this place using Google late last night. I was simply looking for a place to lay my head down and this little place was enough for me. The Price was Under $100 so I definitely didn't complain. The hotel you can say is somewhat stuck in the 70's. Furniture, fixtures and lighting is outdated, but for the price I could care less. If you are looking for a getaway or something 5 star then this hotel may not be for you. Curtis, the owner, is a very interesting and nice man. I checked in at 10:30pm and was out the door by 6:30am. Again, I was here to just lay my head down before I was on my way. The Hotel Served it's Purpose in my Book for a reasonable price.
