Such a clean room! The magnetic phone charging station on the night stand was AWESOME as there was no cord needed and I had left mine home. This is a very quiet hotel and the beds were so comfortable. They had a variety of pillows on the bed which made for a great sleep! Plenty of options for breakfast. I recommend this hotel.

Apr 05, 2025 · Linda HullPlace is under renovations. So understandable with recent reviews and ratings. Hot tub wasn’t clean so I cleaned it myself. Used it. Best part of the stay. Quiet at night. Don't forget. You get what you pay for…. Service was helpful. Thanks Grace, Mike, and Jeremy.
Jun 22, 2024 · JordanGot a king size bed with hot tub but hot tub wasn't working & the girl at front desk was helpful but the manager wasn't. The manager was going to move us to another room like we have but it's being renovated or we could go to another hotel but we stayed cause we had everything already unpacked. Also the manager refused to give us a discount cause we booked through a 3rd party. The room also had no phone or clock.
Aug 10, 2024 · Rena HallSo bad! I understand they are going thru renovations, we can handle some disarray. We are also night super picky but wow. We were sent to a room without any bedding or anything, it clearly wasn’t ready for us. When it was ready, there was still trash & crumbs on the counters and table (we upgraded our room) from the prior people. There weren’t any towels or cups. The toilet wouldn’t stop running so my husband worked on it. The air wasn’t cold, so my husband worked on it. Holes in the wall, paint splatters, broken mirror frame, big metal toilet paper dispenser just laying on the counter. The beds sagged SO bad and the pillows were paper thin. On the plus side the guy was very helpful with our issues. And they had a lot of plug ins. However the woman working there the next day would not make eye contact or acknowledge us.
Jun 12, 2024 · Jackie Thomasson$150 night in a $30 room. This place is dirty, disgusting and extremely overpriced for the nasty room and the dated technical accommodations. The service from staff was lovely. Details written and captured on camera. My family and I recently stayed for a single night. I was suprised to see that it is currently under renovations. The parking lots is partially blocked for storing construction supplies. Once we entered our room, I noticed right away that the place was still very dated. The office chair was very very old and withered. The pillows were discolored. The carpet was old and showing dirt at it's entrance, including a missing section, showing exposed cement. The couch showed major wear and tear. The plumbing was operational, thought after flushing the toilet, it's long function of refilling the back tank was very loud. The coffee maker was dirty and had something in the water section and the coffee bag section that looks to have been neglected. The upper bed frame had some kind of uncleaned "splash debris" of something... The TV, microwave and mini fridge were very dated, looking like they were new 20 years ago. Each, especially the TV had a thick coating of dust on it's rear. The lamp light on the office desk had not been wiped clean in a while and the mattress had dark spots. Visible through the very thin sheets. Lastly, regarding the room, the boxspring for our king-size bed was two twin size box springs put together... The staff was actually very accommodating and certainly deserve to work hospitality at a different establishment. 5 stars from everyone we spoke to and requested things from. The over night stay was, uneventful. The place was quiet, with of course the exception of the lord and long toilet flush and refill. Both my wife and I woke up with body aches. The bed was hard, the pillows were practically just fluffy sheets. The air was very dry. In the morning, I looked at the pool and noticed it was unused and a bit dirty. The free breakfast was sausage links and patties, scrambled eggs, bread/bagel, muffins, prepackaged cinnamon rolls, cereal, and coffee/juice. There was also a waffle maker and a toaster. The sausage was flavorless. The bread was fresh and the toaster worked well. The orange juice was very old and only sour. The coffee was cheap, but expected to be, served via pump dispenser. The mini muffin was nice. I did not try anything else. I also found that the side door would not latch, leaving the place unsecure. I made sure to check our room door was closed and locked every time I walked away from the room. Overall, the experience was not the worst I've had in a hotel in Cedar Falls, but it is certainly extremely disappointing for the price. I've spent $50 more ($200 total) for a whole week stay at a motel of same quality. At $150/night, that's completely delusional and you'd be better off spending for that price on another room or rental elsewhere. This is seriously one of the worst establishments, based on what we paid for and what's branded as a 3 Star Level establishment. The only reason this is not a 1 star review is because of the staff, which again, should find work elsewhere. Don't stay here and if you do, document everything and leave a review.
