Great room and bed. Nice hot breakfast with the coolest pancake machine EVER. (And they were great!) Shuttle service is basically non-existent as you need to give at least 24-hours notice to use it. We got in a midnight and wanted an airport shuttle at 9am. Nope.

Jul 23, 2025 · Denise PrehatneyExtremely Disappointing – Not Team Friendly as Advertised What was supposed to be a fun, team-building weekend with our baseball team turned into a frustrating experience. This hotel was advertised on the USSSA website as being team-friendly, but that couldn't be further from the truth. Save your time and money. The front desk staff, particularly one woman, was incredibly rude—easily the most unpleasant hospitality encounter I’ve ever had. She seemed to make up rules on the spot and treated our group with zero professionalism or courtesy. The pool was unusable. Every person who got in complained of burning eyes, coughing, and other symptoms from what was clearly an excessive amount of chlorine. It was unsafe and disappointing for the kids, who were looking forward to swimming after games. There are plenty of other hotels in the area—do yourself a favor and book literally anywhere else.
Jul 16, 2025 · Hillary HawkinsI received a phone call from April offering a free upgrade to our room to a king suite with whirlpool tub. Absolutely we took that offer! However when we checked in our room was not upgraded. The front desk woman was pretty rude (the whole weekend she was rude) and said too bad so sad because April didn’t tell her that and we’re completely sold out. In fact she told us that they only call to upgrade rooms when they’re not sold out but if they do sell out that the upgrades get taken away and you’re back to your original room. Then don’t call customers in the first place bc that’s not fair and bad for business! Upon check-in the room itself was simple but very musty smelling. There was no shear on the curtain so they could never be open unless we wanted people from the parking lot to see right in. We were in the first floor. The bathroom fan didn’t work. The shower tub is extremely slippery. That’s a fall waiting to happen. The body wash dispenser was completely empty. There was a beetle in the bathroom. There’s mold around the tub faucet. There were spider webs under the a/c unit which would explain the little spider in the bed. There was gum stuck behind the headboard and cobwebs hanging from the ceiling. The positivity was the lobby which was cozy when it was raining out and the halls were pretty quiet. The only interaction we had with house keeping was to ask for more toilet paper bc there was only one roll in our bathroom.

Jun 30, 2025 · Maribeth DrakeOn Sunday, I completed a reservation on Wyndhams website for a one night stay, Monday night at this hotel. An error was made and instead, the reservation went in for that evening Sunday night. This went unnoticed until Monday am, when I received a cancellation notice from the hotel. I immediately called the hotel and figured out the error and sought to correct it. The associate was happy to create a reservation for the correct night, but would not refund me for the error. She stated weak arguments like “policy” and “system limitations”. She suggested I contact corporate customer service. I called corporate and the associate could not help me, as it needed to be “escalated”. It was “escalated” back to the original hotel, which essentially restated their weak arguments denying me a refund. At each interaction I was respectful, self deprecating and clear that this was an honest mistake. Also that I remained loyal by rebooking the brand and I expect them to live by their values - “Integrity; we do the right thing.” Message to the manager/corporate: Brand loyalty is a two way street. If you desire customers to be loyal to your brand, the brand must in return be loyal to your customers. You must live up to your promises of experience and core values. EXPLOITING A LOYAL REWARD CUSTOMER’S ERROR TO POCKET THEIR MONEY WHILE PROVIDING NO SERVICE OR INCURRING ANY MARGINAL COSTS is not in your stated value set. It may be “policy correct”, but you know it is morally wrong. “The right thing” (your stated core value) would be to empathize, acknowledge the customer’s error and help fix it and “make it right”. Give ‘em the Pickle! In the immortal words of William Fisher, “company reputations are built upon thousands of actions, and lost a one”. Congratulations Wyndham, you have found the one.
