Will never stay here again. Elevator is terribly small. Only 2 people fit. Place smelled like armpit. Rooms were extremely dirty. I felt so uncomfortable. The floors were sticky in our room and there was brown stuff on the night stand. When we checked out at 6 am there was no one there. We wait a while and still no body showed up. It seems family run which is nice but they need to be more professional. They had at home attire with flip flops. No dress code whats so ever. Location was nicely located near the river walk though.

Jun 03, 2025 · bianca carrascoI stayed here because I love staying at Best Western hotels. This was NOT a typical best Western. The building is older, the lobby is small but seems updated. The pool is very small and not updated. The rooms were tiny, but clean. The worst part was that it was so loud. The building faces Broadway, and our room was the fourth floor, street side. We stayed Saturday -Tuesday, and every night there was so much sound at night time. Sirens. Car engines. Car stereos. Exhaust noises. Horns. Seriously, frequency and volume was unbelievable. I think the outside noise was loud because the windows were single-pane and didn't indicate the room from any outside sound. Our room also happened to be near the elevator, so also constant dinging sounds from there. Breakfast is also not included in the hotel stay. Most of the time, Best Western Brand hotels include breakfast. When we checked in, the gentleman told us breakfast was $15 per plate. The Guest Directory in the room said $9.99 per person. I'm not sure about that discrepancy. I'm not even sure where breakfast would have been served at because there wasn't a dining area. It may have been at the attached restaurant, Delicious. All in all, I just wasn't impressed by this Best Western. It seemed individually owned, not the reliability of the normal Best Western hotels that I'm used to.
Mar 18, 2025 · Jill BloomfieldThe location is prime considering it’s downtown a couple of blocks to the Riverwalk, 2 blocks from The Alamo. Convenient store like Walgreens nearby and plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Checking in was very easy, and quick. I’m an athlete traveling with 2 bikes. There is no area dedicated to storing bikes but after inquiring with the front desk they allowed me to store my bikes in a conference room. Thank you very much for allowing me to do so as accessing them was very easy. The employees working the front desk were attentive and very helpful throughout my stay. Checked in within 5 minutes, headed up to the room. The room was clean, love the walk in shower. Fitness room is nice, the pool is comically small. Maybe get rid of the pool for a jacuzzi and cold plunge or extend the fitness room? My only con was the $40 per day parking. Self parking unlimited come and go, but I suppose the price is appropriate for the location? All in all was a very good stay, thank you looking forward to coming back.
Mar 27, 2025 · thomasdeniveleFirst of all, the entrance wasn't clearly visible, small signage. We were on the 6th floor and the room was small, cute but small. Only a shower, no tub. Our sink was clogged, so as soon as we ran the water it was start filling the sink and it took a long time to drain. (We notified the desk about this on checkout.) The elevators were extremely small: only two people could fit with luggage. This hotel is located in an urban area, so the noise level was high. I was surprised at the continuous revving of engines and cars roaring down the street most of the night. It quieted down around 5 a.m. before sunrise. We could hear music and people talking street level as well as no less than 3 car alarms go off overnight for long period of time (break-ins?). We were able to sleep through the noise, but this is something for visitors to consider if you are wanting a quiet stay. This is a downtown hotel with a busy nightlife. So keep this in mind.
May 19, 2025 · Lydia NewcombThis place is absolutely GORGEOUS!!!!!!! The rooms are so nice and comfy to sleep in. They even have a fridge in there and microwave it’s very nice. The restaurant in the hotel is to die for!!!! The food is amazing!!!! The lunch we had was a curry and that was absolutely fantastic. I had to come back and try it again!! And the breakfast I got a waffle and it literally was in the shape of Texas!!! This is one of the best places I’ve stayed out and will definitely be back asap!!
