I can’t recommend this hotel highly enough—5/5! From start to finish, every aspect of our stay was exceptional. The activities were a major highlight. We did clay shooting, horseback riding, and spa treatments, and each was fantastic. The clay shooting experience, in particular, stood out—not only was it thrilling, but the instruction was excellent. My girlfriend even hit her first clay on her first try thanks to our instructor, Caleb, who made the experience so enjoyable. Similarly, Rachel was fantastic during our horseback riding session—her patience and knowledge made the ride even more special. She also took some amazing photos of us on horseback. The spa was one of the best I’ve ever experienced. The waiting lounge offered a beautiful view of the property, setting the perfect tone for relaxation. My massage therapist tailored the experience based on what she felt in my body, which made it incredibly personalized and effective. The staff truly elevate this place. Every single person was warm, helpful, and attentive. Servers knew our names when we arrived at our table, and every request was handled with care. The food was outstanding. We dined at both The Barn and The Dogwood, and each meal was a treat. The dishes were not only delicious but also innovative, featuring fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Our room had all the charm of a cozy bed and breakfast rather than a typical hotel. The tall king-sized bed was a favorite feature, and the coffee station right outside our door was a great touch. The ambiance of the entire property is incredibly relaxing. There are fireplaces, armchairs, and plenty of spots to curl up with a book, all set against a scenic backdrop. All this we experienced within the first 48 hours of being here, and we still have two days of adventure to go. This is the kind of place you never want to leave, and I will absolutely be returning. If you’re considering a stay, go for it—you won’t regret it!

Feb 28, 2025 · Ryan KelleyThis place is truly beyond exceptional as others have expressed previously. The grounds, service, food, staff, and everything that comes along with it are everything you expect and then some. Meals are provided and are extremely generous and a top-notch experience. You will want for nothing. Extremely vegetarian friendly. The rooms are amazingly comfortable and extremely tastefully done. Surprisingly for older buildings the water pressure is perfect, and the rooms are silent. The spa and fitness rooms are a great option. Tennis and Pickleball courts nearby as well. Walland Pond is right on the property for easy fishing or canoeing. And of course, tons of hiking available if you wish.
Mar 21, 2025 · Ali MargelloA truly amazing experience. Staff was amazing and made our stay effortless. Food was first class and the hiking was adjacent to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
Feb 13, 2025 · Mark HardisonThoroughly exceptional is the only way to describe Black Berry Farm. From the beginning when we arrived, the grounds, the staff, the accommodations, the food and dining, and the activities were all done to perfection. The moment you drove onto the grounds you realized that this is a special place. The warm and gracious greeting by the staff upon arrival was truly genuine. The staff bent over backwards to ensure you had what you wanted during our entire stay. The accommodations were second to none. The dining and beverages were spectacular. What a great collection of chefs and sommeliers catering to your ever request. You have to experience them yourselves to really appreciate how great they were. Anytime you have approximately 170,000 bottles of fine wine at your disposal it is a testament to the extremes Black Berry Farm goes to assure you of wonderful time. We drank quite a few different wines especially with the wine pairings at dinner. My wife and I were wondering how do they do it. All the wines were extremely good. The activities were fantastic not only what was available but how well they were handled and done. All the activities were professionally done with experienced and friendly staff. However, the best reasons to go to Black Berry Farm are the new experiences and memories that we all had. The beauty about taking our family of eleven to the resort was the opportunity for everybody to do what ever they wanted by themselves or with everybody. It’s rare to have a group that large and have everybody having a great time. At the end of the day, the exceptional dining facilities were the places to talk about everything that everyone had done. Our entire family still talks about the fantastic time we had two months ago. Without a doubt the BEST THING of our time at Black Berry Farm were the new experiences and FOND MEMORIES of our family that we will never forget. Thank you Brian Lee, Black Berry Farm General Manager, for making it happen! OF COURSE, WE WILL BE BACK!!!
Nov 19, 2024 · Timothy CurryI'm an Uber driver who picks up. People sometimes from there. They must have a no tip policy there. So they think there's a no tip on the Uber. That's not the case, rich people that are cheap.
