Blue Water Manor is a hidden gem and has one of the best views of Lake George! The food and service are out of this world. It's a great place to have fun, relax and let the good times roll. They have live music on the weekends and the family and staff are lighthearted friendly people that make you feel at home. In 2016 I had the pleasure of working for the Kelly's and they are a family that truly cares about their employees and treat them with the level of respect that they deserve. In 2023 I had the privilege of having my wedding there. We chose Blue Water Manor for our special day because of the attention to detail and level of care an attention that Rachael Kelly provides to each and every wedding and event that is held there (that I experienced behind the scenes from working with her on other weddings). The family has put so much work into the property to make it shine and come together to create a special feeling. We were planning on holding our ceremony outside, but had to switch to inside the banquet hall due to the weather. Rachael allowed us to do the rehearsal outside the night before and did everything she could to hold off the call to have it switched to inside. The magic of it was that after the ceremony, we had a beautiful rainbow that was visible in our pictures. We had so many compliments from guests on the venue, the food, and the service. I would highly recommend Blue Water Manor for you special wedding day, or even just a lighthearted special meal with a friend or family.

May 18, 2025 路 Jon RoeAs a local, my family has been coming to Blue Water Manor for years. It's one of our favorite places to bring guests and go for dinner. However, yesterday afternoon, the service was the rudest we have ever been treated by a staff at a restaurant in our life. They interrogated us for taking a seat at a table (which the hostess told us to go take a seat at) and then took away our menus when we asked to order a drink at the table. The girls behind the bar were eating chips and chit chatting. When we then asked for a drink from the bar, they rudely said "we will get to you when we get to you", as they ate away and chatted away. We were fine for waiting for a drink, however the way it was said to us was disgusting and rude. When we brought our concerns to the hostess, as we left to go to the Algonquin instead (awesome friendly service), she was dismissive as if to say deal with it and get out. Im not sure if we were mistaken for tourists, but as someone who lives local to the area and loves the friendly enviornment of the lake, and bringing a new guest to our favorite place, this treatment was unacceptable to locals or tourists alike. Will not be returning. I understand people have bad days, but an entire staff? I dont write bad reviews often but felt compelled.
