My husband and I were without electricity in our home, so we stayed for one night. This was one of the nicest hotels we've ever stayed at. The staff was friendly. Our room was equipped with refrigerator, stove top, dishwasher, microwave, cookware and utensils. It was exceptionally clean, which is very important to us. The excellent location is close to anything you could ever need. As we travel in the future, we'll be looking for Candelwood Suites to stay in.

Apr 04, 2025 · Lesa JacobsRented two rooms that connected for my son’s 10th Birthday, and not even two hours into being in the room I found a bedbug . I did get my money back but just want to inform others before deciding to rent a room. I was very disappointed! Basically ruined my son’s birthday.
Mar 18, 2025 · Jordan LoweStayed for my brothers wedding. The staff especially, Star and the daytime staff, were very friendly. Didn’t get to use many of the amenities due to time restraints. Location is convenient , safe, well-lit - close to many restaurants & shopping. Beds sleep well and room generally clean. Only encountered one main issue due to a lingering fried food smell from a previous guest. The front desk provided Lysol spray and I wiped down the counters with my own wipes (room has kitchenette with full fridge, electric burners for cooling , microwave, dishwasher, and sink). After that and still having the smell, I realized that housekeeping didn’t clean the floors. I did express my concern about the smell to management. Due to me using my credit card company to book, they couldn’t fix my billing but promised to try to add one night’s stay of points to my IHG membership. I did get some points added, just not a night’s worth yet. Overall, I still consider it a positive experience for the modern rooms, comfortable bed, and friendly staff.

Extremely appreciative when the service is really good and the staff goes above and beyond and deserve to be recognized. We had an issue with our points(rewards program, Silver Elite) being applied as usually done at check in and requested that we get an explanation of the transaction from the front desk . The manager named Kimberly Stepp contacted us in a very timely manner (within15 minutes) and helped us out and corrected some mistakes that were made at check in. She further went on to increase satisfaction and retain IHG member loyalty by ensuring our points were correct and correcting our IHG account. Kimberly is not an ordinary manager, she is extraordinary and should be recognized as such as she shows true care and concern for her guests! Coming from a long time Fortune 500 corporate career in Customer Service Manager, Kimberly is the type of employee who you protect at all costs. She makes a difference, is fair, knows how to make things "right" and truly cares about her work. Thanks, Candlewood Suites Clarksville, IN and Kimberly Stepp for representing IHG in a big way and in a very professional and personal way. Apr 03, 2025 · A WCheck-in was a headache. First, she seemed annoyed that I was checking in at all and disturbed her. I know I was an earlier arrival than normal, but as a frequent IHG customer with platinum status, I am offered early check-in. I simply asked if my room was available or if not I'd come back as it was 1:30. I understand the cleaning crew bust their backs to get rooms ready! Then she told implied,with an attitude, if I am even at the right hotel. As I am pulling up my confirmation email, she sighs and says I found it." I get it, people have off days and things can be stressful, but what pissed me off was 5 minutes after checking, I'm taking the cart back down to the lobby. She is there, laughing with a male coworker and hitting him with her ass as she is going to out to smoke. That's absurd! And beyond unprofessional, period. My job will have me, and another worker in town for the following two weeks, we will not be staying here after this treatment. So Candlewood, between the two rooms, you will be losing roughly 2k of guaranteed money. Roughly a $100 a night x 2, then by 2 weeks. We will stay at the holiday inn, which i know is still and IHG hotel, but in all my travels have I been greeted so rudely. Also, may want to properly fix the window in 309, as it has an apparent leak.
