A lot of drug addicts, homeless, etc. I don't have an issue with the homeless.. But the ones that come around there seem really sketchy. I do not recommend kids. Rooms are VERY outdated! No mini fridge, rooms smell like old urine.. And the last time I stayed there about a little over a year ago, there was a horrible roach infestation. Also had been bitten by a bed bug and told the workers in the office at that time. Of course they have a no refund policy. Seems like they've done some cleaning up there when I pass by, but I just cant do it after the bed bug incident.

However, other reviews do not echo these concerns, and some mention the location as "decent" and "right off I-65." The exterior of the hotel appears to be a standard, older motel structure. Objectively, its location offers undeniable accessibility, but potential guests should consider the varied perceptions regarding the immediate surroundings. The property employs safety features such as fire extinguishers, smoke detectors, CCTV in common areas and outside the property, and 24-hour security, as well as physical distancing rules and contactless check-in/out.

Customer reviews regarding service are highly mixed. Some guests praise the staff, describing them as "super nice," "friendly," "helpful," and "on point," willing to "help with anything." Specific individuals have been singled out for being "wonderful" and "so helpful and nice." However, other reviews report negative experiences, such as staff refusing to switch rooms due to bed bug complaints or a general lack of responsiveness to issues like heating or cleanliness, despite a "no refund policy" on such issues. This inconsistency in guest experiences highlights the importance of individual interactions with staff.
The rooms at Red Carpet Inn Clarksville, IN, are designed to be functional, providing basic comforts. Common features include:
However, a significant number of customer reviews point to serious concerns regarding the condition and cleanliness of the rooms. Common complaints include rooms being "VERY outdated," smelling like "old urine," and cleanliness issues such as "horrible roach infestation," "bed bug incident," "dirty," "filthy," "stained sheets," "no soap, no towels," and "weird bugs crawling on one wall." Some reviews also mention structural issues like "door locks was broke," "gaps in the door," "windows have shower curtain rods for curtain rods," and "wires hanging off walls." Conversely, one reviewer mentioned, "The hotel was amazing and they had towelettes and soap. The tv worked amazingly and the workers were somewhat nice. I would go again. There were no bugs except outside馃槶lol. I definitely recommend this hotel for Honeymoons or just get away. Good job guys!" This stark contrast in experiences suggests a highly inconsistent quality of rooms and cleanliness. For potential guests utilizing the "Hotels Near Of Me" search, Red Carpet Inn Clarksville, IN, primarily appeals to those seeking the lowest possible price point for a night or an extended stay. Its promotional strategy would likely center on its affordability. While specific promotions are not heavily advertised online, its consistent listing as a budget-friendly option suggests:
It's crucial for prospective guests to manage their expectations based on the hotel's classification as a budget motel and the wide range of customer feedback available online. While some guests have had positive experiences, praising the staff and finding the rooms satisfactory for the price, a substantial number of reviews highlight serious concerns about cleanliness, maintenance, and the immediate environment. Therefore, the primary "promotional" aspect is its positioning as a low-cost option, with the understanding that this comes with potential trade-offs in terms of overall quality and comfort. For those prioritizing extreme affordability and a basic place to sleep, and who are willing to overlook potential issues, this hotel might be considered. However, for families with young children or those sensitive to cleanliness and safety concerns, it may not be the most suitable choice.

Mar 23, 2025 路 Gem'maica Hunter-LawrenceThe very worst stay I've ever stayed in a motel. No lock to lock the inside of the door when you're in here. Says there's free Wi-Fi but you can't connect to it. Can't connect to the TV on any HDMI channel I tried every one of them no signal. Rooms have no heat. Ask for help with the TV nobody knows anything about it. So now I'm stuck here for a week with no Wi-Fi no TV no nothing. I absolutely hate this place!!!!
Mar 21, 2025 路 Cheryl SemonesBed bugs in all the rooms. Management moved me 4 times before convincing me I was in a room with ni bugs. Until the sun went down. Worst bugs I've ever seen. This shoukd be illegal. Ended u o sleeping in my car in the parking lot after paying for a room I could not stand in 5 minutes without multiple bugs crawling on me
May 18, 2025 路 Carly SmithThis place has no hot water so you cant take a shower 馃毧 Also in the winter time the rooms didn't have any heat but you could rent a small heater for $10 and you get that back when you return the heater. Even with all these problems they are still charging full price! It's around $55-$65 a night which is ridiculous considering that you can't take a shower unless you want to take a cold shower and sit in front of a small heater cause the heat doesn't work! The rooms are ok. This place has lots of people who are homeless hanging around and some sketching people who are staying there or living there. It's not a place that I would feel safe going outside at night! I would describe the hotel as run down and sketchy due to the people who hang around or live there and the kind of people who visit a room for just a few minutes in and out all day and night!
