For individuals searching for "Hotels Near Of Me," particularly focusing on budget-friendly accommodations in the greater Louisville metropolitan area, the Value Inn in Jeffersonville, Indiana, located at 2012 Hospitality Way, Jeffersonville, IN 47130, USA, may appear as an option. This introduction aims to provide an objective and comprehensive overview of this property, combining its general characteristics with direct guest feedback to offer a balanced understanding for potential visitors.
The Value Inn operates as a straightforward, no-frills motel, primarily catering to travelers seeking an economical place to stay for a night or a short period. Its location in Jeffersonville, Indiana, places it just across the Ohio River from Louisville, Kentucky. This positioning offers convenient access to major thoroughfares, particularly Interstate 65, making it a practical stop for those traveling through the region. While not directly in the heart of Louisville's major attractions, its proximity means that downtown Louisville, including destinations like the Kentucky International Convention Center, the KFC Yum! Center, Churchill Downs, and the Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory, are typically within a 10-15 minute drive. Closer to the hotel in Jeffersonville, guests can find local dining options and some retail, though specific walking distance to major points of interest might be limited. Its position on "Hospitality Way" suggests an area developed with other lodging and dining establishments nearby.
The environment of the Value Inn, as described by guests, aligns with its budget hotel status. It is noted that the building is older, and its age "definitely shows" in certain aspects. While some guests highlight "clean hallways" and a generally "clean from what I seen" impression, it's understood that guests should not expect a modern or luxurious ambiance. The focus is on providing a functional and basic lodging experience. The overall atmosphere is generally quiet, designed for guests who primarily need a place to rest their head. The property typically features exterior corridor access to rooms, which is common for motels of this type. It's important for prospective guests to set their expectations accordingly, understanding that the value proposition prioritizes affordability over extensive aesthetic polish.
In terms of services, the Value Inn offers essential amenities necessary for a basic stay. The front desk staff is often praised for being "friendly" and "cordial," contributing to a welcoming check-in experience. Guests appreciate the helpfulness of the staff at the desk, indicating a commitment to basic customer service. The hotel generally provides free Wi-Fi in rooms and public areas, which is a crucial modern amenity for staying connected. Daily housekeeping is typically part of the service, ensuring rooms are tidied for subsequent guests. However, some guest feedback indicates that certain in-room amenities, like a working phone, might not always be fully functional, although this was not a major concern for the particular guest given the room's proximity to the front desk. While the emphasis is on a streamlined service model, the presence of friendly staff is a recurring positive point.
The features of the rooms at Value Inn are designed to meet basic accommodation needs without frills. Each room typically includes a bed, air conditioning, and a TV. While some guest reviews mention not expecting a "fancy TV or extra anything," they affirm that rooms provide the necessary elements for a comfortable night's sleep. Key amenities that are sometimes lacking, as per guest feedback, include shampoo and conditioner, suggesting guests should bring their own toiletries. The absence of an ice machine or a functioning ice maker in the fridge in some instances has also been noted, which might require guests to obtain ice from other sources. Despite these minor omissions, the core function of providing a clean and safe place to sleep is generally met. The focus remains on providing a "cheap and safe" option, suitable for travelers who are looking for exactly that.
Promotional information for Value Inn primarily revolves around its affordability and convenient location. It positions itself as a cost-effective choice for individuals, families, or business travelers passing through or visiting the Louisville area. The emphasis is on delivering good value for the price. While specific ongoing promotions may vary, the core appeal lies in its budget-friendly rates. The availability of ample free self-parking is also a significant promotional point, especially for guests traveling by car or truck, as it avoids additional parking fees often associated with hotels in more central locations. Given its simplicity, the hotel does not typically advertise extensive recreational facilities or dining options beyond what might be available in the immediate vicinity.
It's important to provide a balanced view by incorporating specific guest experiences. While some guests find the hotel to be a "good location" with "clean rooms" and "friendly stuff," others note that it is "very basic." The key takeaway from consistent feedback is that the hotel reliably provides "a place to lay your head, but nothing more." This means that guests should not anticipate luxury or a wide array of amenities. The "hotel quality" might be somewhat inconsistent due to the age of the building, but the fundamental aspects of cleanliness and safety are often confirmed. For instance, while one guest mentioned a "strange odor" from the toilet, this was not a universal complaint and could be an isolated incident or resolved issue.
In conclusion, for those searching for "Hotels Near Of Me" with a primary focus on affordability and a no-frills, safe place to sleep near Louisville, Kentucky, the Value Inn in Jeffersonville, Indiana, located at 2012 Hospitality Way, Jeffersonville, IN 47130, USA, offers a practical solution. It delivers on its promise of being a budget-friendly option with a convenient location and generally friendly staff. While the building shows its age and certain amenities like premium toiletries or working phones might be inconsistent, guests can generally expect a clean room and a secure environment to rest. It is best suited for travelers who prioritize cost-effectiveness over extensive features or a modern aesthetic, seeking just a comfortable bed for the night.

Jul 04, 2024 · Maria RaduIt was okay. Very basic but clean from what I seen. However upon staying at the motel, I noticed that a few things were out of place. The building is old so when it comes to the age it definitely shows. They didn't provide nor have any shampoo or conditioner included with the room. The phone in the room didn't work but wasn't really my main concern for the room I got was right around the corner from the main desk. I wouldn't expect a fancy TV or extra anything when staying. Although when staying it did have somewhat of a hotel quality. The most I can really say is that it's cheap and safe. Nothing really special but if you are looking for a place to lay your head, it definitely provided that but nothing more.
Feb 17, 2017 · Mango FoxThis place is a complete joke. Absolutely disgusting. Upon arrival we stood at the front desk for 10 min ringing the bell because no one was there to greet us.. never did see the area for " breakfast" it was full of junk. The bedding/ comforter has red/brown stains and when Calling the front desk the staff said they did not have any clean comforters.. they would bring one when they had one available 3 hours later still nothing. No paper/pens or anything for the wifi password you have to call the front desk to ask. There are awful stains all over the walls. No Microwave. No fridge. The sheets were covered in black stains. Pillow cases look like have mascara rubbed off. Absolutely the worst decision ever. Total waste of 60.00!!
Mar 12, 2017 · Jessica SimmonsThe front desk receptionist tried to overcharge me one of the rooms, and when I asked for a receipt with the details he refused. When I asked for the Wifi he seemed irritated and gave it to me verbally instead of writing it down like common practices most hotels offer. I was just passing through while on business, and just needed a room for the night, but wasn’t expecting hostility as a guest from a hospitality establishment. This place is run down, and far from any luxurious amenities, but a room for thé evening I was expecting at least a certain level of customer service.
Sep 02, 2021 · DES EXPERIENCEOwner is rude, there are roaches everywhere and rooms are not well cleaned. I've stayed there a lot and there will be used bars of soap in the bath tub, used wash cloths and who knows what else. Over priced and owner will say he has no single rooms just to get more money. Employees at night are amazing, thats the only bright side to this dump. To had the management does not act more like the employees
