Really excellent hotel, great service and probably one of the better tasting coffees that you will get in the lobby. I came here for a ski trip to Stowe and the staff were friendly and the rooms were clean. Kudos to the restaurant downstairs, I asked them the night before they could be breakfast in the morning since I wanted to hit the slopes early, and they accommodated me for that request. I will be a returning guest.

Mar 24, 2025 · JackyThis property gives the vibe of a BNB and quaint rooms. The property has a lot of charm. Front desk was great they told me the elevator broke. Not a big deal as I wasn’t staying long and could use the exercise. Room was clean with a decent view of the parking lot. The chairs for the desk in the rooms are terrible. The room was recently updated and was done nicely. The grab and go pantry had some nice goodies. Location was awesome and one you park you can walk to all of the cool shops.
Feb 16, 2025 · Michael J. BarrosWe were here for an event not to stay the night. Didn’t see much past the lobby and the event room. Beautiful lobby with a very helpful and friendly front desk staff, and with access to the Steakhouse. We didn’t get to eat at the steakhouse because they stopped serving lunch at 2 and we arrived at 2:15, to be fair we didn’t think to check their time. The hotel is conveniently located and surrounded by many other restaurants and stores.
Apr 11, 2025 · SalYou only get one chance to impress—unfortunately, The Capitol Plaza Hotel Montpelier, Tapestry Collection by Hilton misses the mark." The location is perfect, right in the heart of Montpelier—but that’s where the perks end. Elevators? Out of commission. Room condition? Tattered and worn. Bathroom supplies? Someone forgot to refill them—empty moisturizer bottle included. Security? The back door near the parking lot stays unlocked, open to anyone. Hidden fees? The overly cheerful front desk agent conveniently forgot to mention the parking charge. At $180 a night, you’re not just paying for a room—you’re paying for disappointment.
Apr 17, 2025 · MichSo this is not to the standard I think of when I stay at Hilton properties. I stay 30+ night per year in hotels. Rooms were spacious but really really bare, like Motel 6 art on the wall. Bathroom was bare except for the extremely outdated sink on top of counter which didn’t work well when they were new. While I just made do the stain in the toilet from the previous guest was well… yuk. I used points for the stay otherwise I would have made a huge fuss. Wouldn’t pay to stay here, there are other a few other options.
