We stayed here on a Saturday night. We checked in late and left early. The unit was nice and clean. Very well kept. Tons of space for the (very reasonable) price. We would definitely stay again if we're in the area.

We were extremely disappointed with the lack of pool towels and the inadequate number of bath towels provided in our room. For a room that accommodates eight people, we were only given seven towels and were informed that we had to use these for both showering and the pool. To make matters worse, when we requested additional towels, we were told we would need to wash them ourselves if we wanted clean ones—despite only staying for one night. Had we been made aware of this policy in advance, we would have brought our own towels for the pool. Adding to our frustration, we discovered that detergent for the washer was not provided, meaning we would have to purchase it just to have clean towels. Ultimately, we had to make the frustrating decision for the adults to forgo pool towels so that the children would have enough for both swimming and showering. This experience was incredibly inconvenient and fell far short of our expectations. Basic amenities like adequate towels and reasonable access to clean ones should not be an issue at a property of this caliber.

Pretty good! A little isolated from main attractions, but the service was amazing. My only complaint is that it was super hot in the second floor of my room. The first floor would be freezing, and the second would be super hot.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Cold Springs Resort for a weekend getaway, and I cannot speak highly enough about the experience. Coming from out of state with no familiarity with New Hampshire, I had some concerns—particularly about the forecasted snowfall of nearly a foot. In the days leading up to my trip, I called the resort multiple times with questions about the weather and road conditions. Each time, Joel was incredibly patient and reassuring, explaining that New Hampshire is well-equipped for snow removal and that roadways remain accessible even in significant snowfall. Their confidence in the state’s preparedness gave me the peace of mind to proceed with my trip, and I’m so glad I did. Joel even helped me select a nearby ski lodge that would best suit my family, making the experience even more seamless. Upon arrival after a 5.5-hour drive, the resort exceeded my expectations. The accommodations were exactly what I had hoped for—warm, inviting, and full of New England charm. While not a cabin, the space had that cozy, rustic feel that perfectly complemented the winter landscape. I wasn’t looking for something overly modern or extravagant—I wanted an authentic atmosphere that captured the essence of New Hampshire, and Cold Springs delivered. One of the standout aspects of my stay was the unparalleled hospitality of the staff. From the moment I checked in, they went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed. The most memorable moment of my trip, however, came during the heavy snowfall. As expected, the highways were well-maintained, but in the local roads my car struggled to make it up the hill to my apartment. Despite my best efforts, I simply couldn’t get enough traction. I went to the office for assistance, where Tom, who had already been so helpful throughout my stay, immediately came to my aid. He plowed the hill again to improve the path, yet my car still couldn’t make the climb. Without hesitation, Tom took it upon himself to walk down the hill, offer to drive my car up, and successfully park it in its designated spot. This level of dedication and customer service is rare, and I was truly blown away by his kindness and expertise. Overall, Cold Springs Resort is a shining example of what hospitality should be. The staff is welcoming, knowledgeable, and genuinely committed to making guests feel at home. Even amidst a New England snowstorm, I felt completely at ease, thanks to their unwavering support. If you're looking for an authentic, stress-free New Hampshire getaway with incredible service, I highly recommend Cold Springs Resort. I will absolutely be returning!
