The front desk and customer service were FABULOUS. They were so helpful and always available. The laundry room was decent and the breakfast area was pretty clean. I have to say though it's because the front desk staff came out and wiped the tables down. The manager for housekeeping needs to take a close look at what their staff is doing. I stayed from March 30th to April 5th. The room cleanliness needs a lot of improvement. My mom was with me, and she did housekeeping for years. She said the stuff that went on there with the cleaning staff would never be allowed. I have pictures to show management what they can improve.

Apr 16, 2025 · Heidi BurmannHad to come into Burlington on an emergency basis for a relative. What was most important was that it was about 5 minutes from the hospital. I found the hotel to be clean and quiet. The breakfast was fine and appreciated based on my immediate travel plans. I arrived after midnight and the night desk clerk was welcoming and friendly and made the arrival pleasant. It's a good value and I will stay again.
May 03, 2025 · MarkStayed here for one night early in February 2025. The whole experience was lackluster. It took quite some time to check in. No one was at the front desk and after several minutes I walked around the desk to see if I could see anyone in the back room and the attendant was sitting there on her phone. She saw me and came out. After we got to the room, we noted that it was just okay. The couch had a rip in the arm and looked worn overall (and was incredibly uncomfortable). The floor looked and felt dirty. The bathroom seemed clean. The bed also seemed clean and was decently comfortable. The pillows were terribly. They're only half size pillows (but they give you 5 of them) and my wife's neck still hurts from using them two weeks later. I can say for certain that we won't be staying at this Comfort Inn again. The price was okay, but we want a clean room where the furniture is fully intact. Edited to add: The breakfast was pitiful. They did have eggs and ham/bacon, however it was busy and they never restocked them. The one employee I saw that seemed to be tending to the breakfast seemed more interested in watching videos on his phone.
Feb 27, 2025 · Joshua GriffesHaving stayed at this hotel a few years ago, I was looking forward to another great experience. Although I was staying at a highly discounted rate again, unfortunately, this time, it was different. I sleep lightly and usually request a quieter room if available. Last time, I was thrilled to have been upgraded to a suite based on my Choice Privileges status, but this time my room was one of the smallest in the building, with the elevator right across the hall and a utility room that made noise every night around 9ish. Okay, no worries, maybe they're busy, and this was one of the only rooms available, though the parking lot was only partially full and breakfast wasn't crowded. The main disappointment was the room. Upon entering, there was a distinct odor, which was a blend of marijuana and old food. The refrigerator was unplugged, and, sure enough, when I opened it, there was a rancid plate of Chinese noodles inside left from the previous guest. Disgusting, yes, but again, no worries, I'll just throw it out and turn on the AC to diminish the smell. I did tell the front desk, and they did offer to change my room or come up with some deodorizer, but I was settled in, and it was my choice to stay. The hotel is nice, and the location is very convenient to downtown Burlington, the lakefront, and the attractions in Shelburne, eyc., but the rooms are tired, worn, and not as well cleaned as they once were. Furniture is scratched and worn, the headboard and TV screen were dirty, the desk lamp rusted, the microwave wasn't cleaned, and mold spots were beginning to appear in the shower. Really a downturn from the last time I stayed. Would I stay here again? Yes. But I'm hoping it gets back to the great place it once was. It seems to just need a little capital improvement and a lot more attention to detail. I hope it gets the love it deserves and makes a comeback.
May 15, 2025 · Steve S (Steve in NEPA)A MUST HOTEL !!! TIME YOU GET OFF THE PLANE, I must say this, Abe was so professional and the staff, I didn't have to worry about my credit card kept being charged numerous of times while Iam there like another hotel here in Vermont was doing, I didn't have to worry about the cable going out of service, I didn't have to worry about stepping in dog poop on the elevators or the hallways or in the rooms not being cleaned good. If you are like me & had horrible experiences with Furnished Finders and just don't trust them, plz try Comfort Inn they will give us travel Nurses our discount rate and treat you with class, like a 5 STAR HOTEL SHOULD!!
