Wonderful staff. Room was clean. But, wallpaper needs to be repaired in the bathroom. The paint on the bathroom door was also in need of being redo ex it was an accessible room, so up keep needs to be done more often. None of the charging ports in the room worked. The TV was great. The breakfast fresh. We have stayed there before. My husband hurt his foot a few weeks ago so we went for the accessible shower. I think we will get a standard room next time.

May 09, 2025 · Louise Baldwinoverall, the stay was good, but I did feel disappointed that the room was not cleaned to my expectation and that the chairs in the room were stained to the point that I did not want to sit on them. The manager did immediately bring sheets to cover the chairs but that should have been handled prior to the room being assigned. Also, the microwave for my aunt's room did not work and her clock as well. She also had stained chairs. My cousin did not have a blow dryer in her room. My other cousins also had stain rugs. These are things that could have been dealt with easily prior to the rooms being assigned to people. I feel it is important to check rooms thoroughly to give the customer the best experience possible. The breakfast was good but the selections were the same daily but there was a choice between eggs and sausages and waffles for the hot items.
May 08, 2025 · Elizabeth OrtizGood location, as far as Reading goes. Positives, the place was clean and there did not appear to be a large amount of riff-raff (unlike the former Reading Motor Inn) and they actually had a breakfast. Now for the bad: The bed was hard as a rock, we were refused a comforter on the bed (there never was one to begin with) and the front desk attendant retorted, "does the heat work" rather than pull a comforter from an unused room or to wash one, because they self-admittedly hadn't done the laundry yet. The bed was hard to the point I couldn't sleep at all. I have slept on floors and couches that were more comfortable, in all seriousness. When I asked to refund the portion for the room upgrade (from 1 to 2 beds), I was told no because the "15 minute complaint window had passed". We asked for the comforter as soon as we realized there wasn't one and that there indeed should have been. The new front desk guy in the morning was nice and apologetic, but apparently called management and was told no they couldn't do any partial refund or anything to make it right. So if you stay, make sure you air out all complaints within the first 15 minutes or they'll basically just stare at you and say "sorry too late". Honestly just stfu and get me a comforter and then I wouldn't be here writing a defamatory review. Tell the staff they're in the hospitality business, do better.
Apr 29, 2025 · KieranI travel for work, I’m generally visiting 5 to 7 hotels a month. This is the worst I’ve stayed at in a while. I didn’t look well enough before I made the reservation. There were several pieces of different types of hair on the unorganized like of bath towels. It didn’t seem like it was wiped down very well as the bathtub look dirty. The light over the bath was flickering. The elevator door wouldn’t close. If there’s another option, please take it for your sake .
Feb 21, 2025 · Justin VanHookAbsolutely Terrible I came in with my significant other and soon as we entered the door it smelled disgusting. So more than already having doubts then we find out since I’m 20 years old we can’t stay since you have to be 21 to stay in the rooms but we already payed for it so assuming since it’s not possible to stay in the room due to my age thought we’d get a refund for the inconvenience… the staff were terrible and absolutely no help and when we wanted a refund we weren’t able to get one due to the “policy” and booked with a 3rd party app booking.com but luckily a much better hotel came in to save the day. Do not recommend comfort inn to anyone who has a working nose or brain. I know the low prices seem nice but it’s not worth it.
