This was by far the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. From the moment I walked in, the staff were unbelievably rude and dismissive—as if helping guests was a burden. I was treated like an inconvenience instead of a paying customer. But the real nightmare began when I got to my room. Not only was it dirty and poorly maintained, but I discovered BED BUGS in the sheets. Actual, living bed bugs crawling on the mattress. It was disgusting and unacceptable. I immediately went to the front desk to complain, and not only did they show zero concern, they were hostile about it. No apology, no room change, no refund—just attitude. I ended up leaving in the middle of the night and had to throw out luggage and clothes just to be safe. Do yourself a favor: stay anywhere else. This place is a health hazard run by people who clearly don't care.

No effort was made to resolve my issue or even offer basic courtesy. This kind of treatment is unacceptable in the hospitality industry. I won’t be returning and would strongly advise others to avoid this place.
Jun 08, 2025 · AStaff at the front desk were completely inept. Charged us three times for the room; tying up over $630. Asked for a receipt due to the gross incompetence. The attendant was combative and argumentative. She had to wake up her GM for the simple task of printing a receipt. GM spoke poorly of my family, not realizing the desk attendant had her on speakerphone. Save your family the pain and aggravation. Go somewhere else.
May 23, 2025 · William WylesRoom 219. This place is out dated. For $178.08 for a night I expected better. One good thing was that it was clean. Wi-Fi doesn't work 🙄 we had a 9am meeting, lucky we had good phone service. The beds are hard. Pillows go flat, fast.
Jun 01, 2025 · Vicki LocklearThis is a decent hotel. The staff is friendly and the rooms are ok. The only thing is the breakfast. I unfortunately had to stay there for work. I was there for about 10 weeks. When I discovered sour milk one morning, I quietly told one of the morning staff about it and the date on the milk was still good and after staying there for the length of time that I did, I realized that they bought a week to ten day supply at a time. The staff member opened another carton and it was bad too. Instead of replacing the milk, they continued setting it out each morning until it was gone. I opened several more during a 7-10 day period and found several more nasty ones. They all had the same expiration date. This is how I new that they were all in the same batch. This is also how I knew they bought a week or so worth at a time. Ok, so, this is just one gross part of the breakfast menu that I suffered through. All and I mean ALL of the bread products were stale , everything. I did not ever get anything that was fresh. I am certain that they must purchase "seconds" or rather, the 1day to several days old products to serve to guests. They served link sausage and patty sausage 99% of the time. It must be the highest processed crap of which meant that it was of the cheap "cardboard" variety. They served bacon 4 times the whole time I was there. It looked like it probably came from a pig. (LOL) With the money that a guest spends for a room, you would think that you would get a breakfast meal that is above "jailhouse" garbage. It is probably less than that. I'm certain that a jailhouse meal is at least somewhat fresh. Ok, it is West Virginia. My suggestion is for you to go to a different hotel, especially if you plan to be there for an extended period of time. To summarize, the hotel is just ok and the breakfast meals are sub-par and mostly nasty. They do not care about fresh, so that suggests to me, that the rest of the things they provide such as cleaning and disinfecting and laundry and the things you expect to be at a minimum, like your health are cheap and sub-human and just as nasty if not more so. I don't leave reviews very often but I feel that your health is very important and you should be warned about the potential "puke fest" you may be setting yourself up for if you stay at this place. I am going to make another statement, but I don't want you to think that I wrote this review because of the following: I had been there for a few weeks when I decided to bring my Belgian Malanois there after driving home for a weekend. I came back and had been there with "Rosa" for a week when they decided they were going to charge me $40.00 a night for her to stay. They had entered my room when I was gone and picked up some bags of trash that I had accumulated and I got a letter saying they were going to charge me the $40.00 a night fee. I was scratching my head, wondering why ??? I know that they were not charging anyone else this ridiculous fee and there were numerous people with dogs who were not paying extra.(I asked) I walked in my room and I think I realized what the issue was. There was a smell. However, the smell was "Rosa's" dog food that was on the counter. I had transferred about 2 or 3 pounds of her dry food into a plastic grocery bag from the 45lb bag in my truck. It wasn't an overly stinky smell but it had a smell. Of course, I was prepared for this because I travel 10 months out of the year. I had her certified as a working dog and they were unable to charge me the ridiculous assed fee. What scumbags. I suggest that you ride right passed this place if you care anything at all about your stomach and your health.
