Staff at front desk was very nice and polite. Beds sit up high, so if you are short bring a stool - my mom struggled getting in. Carpets need a good cleaning or replaced. Beds were very soft and comfortable. Be careful with outlets as plugs fall out - which is how my husband lost his first house when a fire broke out. Overall extremely like - not love. Location is a bit remote up on a hill. Not many restaurants nearby aside from the one inside the hotel. But will likely return for another stay.

Our room was good -- was clean, had refrig & microwave, comfortable bed. Was dissapointed with the breakfast though -- no meat or eggs for protein, just cereal, toast, oranges and waffles. I liked the waffles. The on-site restaurant, "Ole No.3" (opens at 3pm) was decent, good food & service so I could stay on-site to eat. Hotel & restaurant staff were nice. The hotel is located on a hill off highway 460, away from random foot traffic. It's about a 10-minute drive into downtown Bluefield. Overall it was a good place to stay and I would stay here again.

They were very gracious with us during a difficult situation. Very friendly and understanding and bent the rules a little bit to help us out after a long drive through. We got a room with a Jacuzzi tub which was clean and enjoyable with plenty of hot water.

This hotel was on our travel route. I used Priceline to book it. It was rated at 2.5 stars. Our room was on the first floor which was nice. But, the room was dated and in need of repairs. Places can be dated and still nice, but not this hotel. The mattress covers were disgusting. (I always check for bed bugs under the sheets.) I would probably not stay at this location again.

Room was very old, very smelly, carpet was absolutely nasty. Hallway and room smelled like musky mold and they tried to cover up the smell with a strong air fragrance that made it hard to breathe. Do not recommend.
