Dawn Hotel of NY LLC

The program director is rude very unprofessional as well as the case workers put you down no help never enough supplies nor support maintenance never what to fix anything. Can smell rats mold places needs to be shut down. A couple days ago HRA called and was wondering what was going on with the ceiling in my old shelter room SMH it's almost been 9 months y'all just now calling me it's very said how you can put family through that feels like prison.

I have to my stay was horrible.the beds was hard as a wood floor.not to mention the supervisor tells you the beds are new.I wish I can post pics of them old hard beds. I feel bad for the ppl who have to live in this condition. One unit was under inspection for mice.not rats as big as your foot.they switched me to another room.the first room I was in needed repairs an was made whike I was in it, in the freezing cold for days.until another room came available.staff didn't have supplies.they must be token by staff. no way they don't get any.all male staff where horrible. they speak to you beyond disrespectful an how are they getting paid here?? Worst staff ever..I'm sorry give jobs to ppl who do their jobs. We are in a pandemic.cause this place is not run by someone with no hospitality.

This should not be a place for mothers with children at ALLLLLLLLL Get the place shut down and up for renovation bc if I could give this a 0 stars I will

This is one of the few remaining shelter hotels. It's on It's 3rd non profit organization...The consumers being housed don't seem to receive the services they need to transition into permanent housing. Mothers living there are overwhelmed...

This is by far the worst family shelter , no heat & hazardous for children the mattress are literally as hard as wood they dont supply anything , plumbing is horrible you can smell the mold through the walls , roach and mice infested nomatter how clean you keep it , all staff are rude and treat you horribly especially the supervisor of the case managers , i may say ms.meghan has been very helpful and good to me as well as the male staff resident assistant for the evening all other staff are extremely rude and try to talk down on you , this place is destined for you to lose your mind , i would compare it to a jail cell !
