It's right off the highway, super easy to get to. Staff was very nice. There is no elevator. And the room didn't feel the cleanest. Shower tub spout wasn't even caulked to the wall. Paint chipping off the walls. Just needed a place to sleep. Would not choose this location again.

This location is particularly beneficial for those on long road trips or for individuals commuting between these two major metropolitan areas. For those flying in, the hotel is a reasonable drive from both Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport (MKE) and O'Hare International Airport (ORD) in Chicago, though a car would be necessary for ground transportation. Jul 10, 2025 · Emily D"Lipstick on a Pig" – Not Worth $180/Night We stayed here while attending the races in Wilmot, and this was the closest available hotel. From the outside, it looks decent—fresh paint and what appears to be recent remodeling. But once you step inside your room, the reality hits hard. The paint was chipping off the walls, smoke detectors were completely missing, and fire sprinklers were painted over—something that would never pass a proper inspection. The bathroom was filthy with hair left behind as well as the beds, and the bathroom door didn’t even close properly because it dragged against the floor and hit the light switch. Hallways reeked, the vending machines were empty, and our room door had to be slammed just to shut. Noise was another huge issue. Forget a peaceful wake-up call—at 6:30 a.m., a woman was banging on doors, screaming and cursing about wanting her clothes for 45 minutes and the staff did nothing about it. The walls are paper thin, so you hear everything from your neighbors. We had a double room for three people, and they provided exactly one towel. When we asked for two more, the staff insisted we hand over the used towel due to “policy.” Speaking of the staff, they were unhelpful and not friendly. The photos online are absolutely misleading—highly edited to hide what If you’re just looking for a place to sleep, I’d honestly recommend your car. For $180 a night, this was nowhere near acceptable. The one star rating is a stretch.
Jul 13, 2025 · Kelly PippinVery bad experience. A man walked into our room in the middle of the night. When we called the front desk, they said they had "accidentally" assigned the same key to our room, and refused to do anything about it and blamed us for the guest walking in, claiming we left the door open. This is very concerning. Especially with human trafficking on the rise in Wisconsin. They do not care about your safety. Do not stay at these hotels! They will gaslight and blame you, at best. Also, it was not the cleanest. The ceiling had mold.
Jun 08, 2025 · Mia S.When we arrived, we noticed that the room smelled musty. The floor wasn't very clean, especially in the corners. The toilet had a hair on it, and the bathtub had several hairs, as well as debris on the bottom of the tub. We settled in, then when we left to go get dinner, I stopped at the front desk to ask the attendant if our bathroom could be cleaned. She said that cleaning staff had left, but she offered me a different room and allowed me to check it out first. The entry way light didn't work, and the bathtub was equally as dirty with debris, plus there was some kind of product that had spilled on the corner ledge and dripped down the side of the tub. We decided to stay with our current room, and the front desk attendant said she would take care of the issue in our bathroom. When we returned from dinner, the hair on the toilet was gone, but the bathtub was unchanged. We were tired and decided to deal with it. So to summarize, the floor was dirty (I wore shoes in the room unless there was a towel on the floor), the bathroom was dirty, and the room smelled musty. I was able to see another room, and it was even worse. I definitely will not stay there again and would not recommend it to others.
Feb 18, 2025 · Melanie CostelloThis hotel was filthy and unsafe. The first room they checked me into had a broken door lock, the second room, the smoke detector was unplugged and sitting on the counter. The shower had mold, the comforter was stained, the sink had a fork and the remains of someone’s meal in the drain. The light switch had food on it, the usb charging ports didn’t work, the windows were dirty and disgusting, the coffee tray was too small for the coffee maker… My last night there I had to finally call the front desk at 10:30p because there were children yelling and screaming in the hall. Her answer was, the mom is doing laundry… ummm ok, but also, I paid to have some where to sleep and it’s 10:30 on a Sunday night. If all the other hotels in the area hadn’t been sold out, I’d have changed hotels.
