My very tired family checked in late last Saturday arrived 145am. I reserved this hotel online. They are remodeling. The website spent day anything about it. The front desk guy was trying really hard to be helpful., he didn’t have a list what rooms were ready. He kept calling the security guy to find a clean room. They finally figured it out. We got into the room and we were so tired from driving all day that the dirty floors didn’t mattered we covered it with towels. We made kids put on their socks! Then we had to go to the bathroom and there was dried peed drips on the potty. So so gross! I cleaned it! Checked the bed for bed bugs there were not any on both beds, so we just went to bed. I didn’t sleep hardly at all. With all the weird people walking around I was worried about our truck! The next morning we told the front desk guy and he said I’m really sorry I will tell the manager. Then he was gone. We deserved a HUGE DISCOUNT after all that! We didn’t get anything we paid for! The new guy at the desk when we checked out which was fairly early. I took a picture of his name. He was not any help! He said you should had said something last night. I told him all our children were tired. He said there is nothing we can do about it we’re remolding!!!! I wouldn’t stay here until they’re done and they have better security! It was scary being there and rooms were gross. Highly disappointed!!!

The itinerary with Baymont Inn & Suites (Baymont by Wyndham San Antonio Near Lackland AFB) was charged to my credit card & payment was processed at the time I made the booking. When we showed up tired around 4pm at the hotel (checkin time was 3pm), the front desk confirmed that I had a "Payment to be collected at check-in" reservation for me. I chatted with Priceline & the chatbot had me call Priceline. I was put in callback line with 15 mins wait. Got a call back after 30 mins & was assured the third party (Expedia) will resolve with the hotel & I will get a call back to confirm. It's been over 3.5 hours & we are stuck waiting in the hotel lobby & the issue is not resolved. The hotel is claiming helpless & my follow up calls are met with being set up with a 47 mins and 61 mins waiting call back times. Tiered & frustrated with Priceline and Days Inn/Baymont. The front desk person was Jason, he lacked basic empathy & put the incoming calls from Priceline on hold saying he was busy with his other chores. Mgr at this property was Nilesh (Nil) Patel.
Jun 22, 2025 · Ah EadThe quality of this stay was truly abysmal. Requiring a cash-only deposit, okay, that can be excused. It would have been nicer if they had an ATM, or were aware of local ATM locations. The location's utterly draconian policies, however, were the first true sign that this would be legendarily bad. $1 per minute past check-out on a $35 room? Evidently, they didn't intend to use the extra time to clean or prepare the room for the next guest; we immediately noticed the stench upon entering the room. The carpets, have mercy, were torn and sticky. The lamp by the door was but half plugged in and the microwave was too far from any outlets to receive power. The sheets, of course, were stained, and the AC was weak and moldy. Structurally, the room was below the legally-acceptable minimum of competence. The door guard was missing its security bolt. The bathtub was cracked, stained, moldy, and missing hardware. Several outlets were dislodged from the wall. Electrical tape disguised some unknowable malady afflicting one of the nightstand lamps. The crown jewel cherry-on-top, however, was the completely absent smoke detector. Where did it go? How long has it been gone? Science fails to answer. Is it appropriate to accept squalor when paying fifteen bucks fewer a night? I absolutely, vehemently deny that premise. If these are the corners that need to be cut to afford such savings, and these savings are required to maintain a competitive advantage, this business has failed to justify its existence. I don't say this lightly: this business should rapidly find new ownership or it should disappear.
Jun 19, 2023 · Kit Staskiewicz (T147)Place was absolutely disgusting. Bed sheets/blankets were stained, rug looks like it was never vacuumed or shampooed. Bed skirt has what looked like pizza sauce on it. I do not recommend ever staying here. Spend more money and get a better place. It is close to base which was convenient but that’s the only thing. Customers should not have to go out and spend money on cleaning supplies to sanitize the room. Maid never brought toilet paper, also had to request new sheets to change everything out.

One of the lights weren’t working. And the restrooms were dirty. Paint chipping. Mold. And there was hair from the last person on the bottom of the tub. The carpet is torn by the sinks. And the tub will not drain after i showered. If you’re on a super tight budget and just need a bed. Then i recommend this place but to be on a budget and want something better? Go spend an extra 20 on something nicer
