I was drunk most of my nights while I had to stay 30 days/31 nights at Lackland for NCOA. It got me through it. The room is that bad. There is no A/C. Just a central fan that blows warm air in!! Don't bother touching your room temp dial, it doesn't matter. You will be hot, humid, and sweaty EVERY night. 1. Call the desk, ask them for a fan. (The room may come with one, USE IT). 2. Buy a box fan yourself or better yet...BRING ONE! PS - You may also be awakened to 4AM PT calls and reveille calls EACH morning. Do yourself a favor....STAY OFF BASE.
