I am a diamond member and I must say this was not my best stay at this hotel. It is dated for sure and needs an upgrade. Rooms are well appointed but need updating badly. The swimming was closed (not sure why) it’s June so people are going to want to cool off. Very small gym area. The employees were helpful and it seemed they may have been short handed and doing the best they could which does go a long way and why I gave service four stars. I saw them working in the lounge and then going back to the front desk … I applaud hard workers and hope they continue to do this for the hotel brand. I loved the ribbons tied to the toilet paper, very nice touch. Bathroom and Shower were roomy and not cramped.

UPDATE: Still have not heard back from the actual hotel manager as promised. ( granted they replied to this review, because it reflects on their business) it has been 2 weeks now. I also called about a blanket I left in my room. When I called the lady said my blanket was not here and she would have a manager call me and would note about my blanket and to give them a couple of days. I replied "oh you mean so they can bring back my blanket they took home?" She then giggled and said "yes." What kind of business do you run? This whole situation has been ridiculous. I guess its true when they say you get what you pay for. What i thought was going to be a nice stay, turned out to be disappointing and disgusting. The bathroom was extremely unsanitary. The toilet had urine on the top part where the guys pee so if you put Your toilet lid down all you see is the Pee. Behind the bathroom door rack was dangling off, The shower curtain was dirty the towels look dirty. I complained about The urine on the toilet to the lady downstairs who assured me someone was going to come clean it. I came back to my room and the pee was still there. The only thing that was different is my do not disturb sign was left on the floor. they took the towels that we were using and took out the trash, but didn’t Clean the toilet. I didn’t want anybody in my room, but I made the exception for them to come in and clean the toilet so what was the reasoning for them to even come in if they didn’t want to clean the toilet? It’s actually a lot more ghetto than I expected as well. They made us breakfast, The bacon was swimming in a pile of grease. The potatoes were basically a choke hazard as hard as they were. The pancakes were OK I guess. Over all stay somewhere else, dont waste your money here.

My family and stood here for 2 nights. Upon arrival I was greeted by Dana and she informed me that the room I booked was no longer available. She did her best to accommodate me and offered another room with a pull out couch since we needed 2 beds. For the inconvenience, Joseph waived the pet fee. I’m grateful for their excellent customer service. On the flip side, the hotel lobby smells like sewage. The mattress for the sofa bed was about an inch thick. We requested a mattress topper but had to wait a day before getting it. The phone in the room didn’t work and the lights on the lamp did not work. The king size bed was too soft. The pool water was too cold. This hotel is nothing to call home about and offers bare minimum. While the hotel is pet friendly there is not a safe space for your dogs to use the bathroom outside. There is grass all around the hotel but unfortunately the grass gets treated with fertilizer and pesticides making it unsafe for our fur babies. I expected more from this hotel chain especially with the money I spent to stay here. I’m not impressed and unsure if I will stay at another DoubleTree.

Fantastic Stay at DoubleTree Largo – Perfect for Events at Northwest Stadium! We stayed at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Largo while attending a concert at Northwest Stadium, and the location couldn’t have been more convenient—just a short drive away! The hotel was completely sold out during our stay, but the staff didn’t miss a beat. *Special shout out to Dana and Paul at the front desk—they were friendly, helpful, and really made us feel welcome.* Our room was clean and comfortable, with great AC and a surprisingly large mini fridge that came in handy for our leftovers from dinner. And of course, the signature warm cookies at check-in were delicious—a great start to our stay! Breakfast was a highlight—fresh, tasty, and well-stocked. While the app says breakfast ends at 9:00am on weekdays, we were pleasantly surprised to find it actually runs until 10:00am. Just a heads-up in case the app hasn’t been updated. Note: breakfast is not complimentary, but if you’re a Hilton Honors member and select the daily food and beverage credit ahead of time in the app, it can cover breakfast for up to two people—definitely worth it! There’s also a Manager’s Reception in the evening for Gold and Platinum members, which we didn’t get to take advantage of this time, but it’s a nice perk we’ll keep in mind for future visits. ****I had no idea any other Hiltons offered these types of receptions other than Embassy Suites!*** The indoor pool area was a big hit with the kids—a comfortable solarium-style space that was perfect for relaxing. A couple of small cons: the TV in our room had some blown pixels, but we didn’t use it much so it wasn’t a big deal. Also, the elevators are a bit slow, so just plan ahead if you’re in a rush. A suggestion for improvement would be to include an extra blanket in the closet, especially for guests like me who prefer heavier bedding—currently there are only three thinner layers on the bed. Lastly, the fresh lemon water in the lobby was a refreshing and thoughtful touch. All in all, we had a great stay and will definitely book here again the next time we’re heading to a concert or football game. Highly recommend!

The hotel is good for the price. The rooms are nice and clean, but they could use some new furniture. The bathrooms are pretty good as well and spacious. Be aware that families are not very considerate and the chances of kids using the hallways as playgrounds is very high.
