This place is the worst of the worst. From the paint peeling on the walls. Mold smell in every room. Toilet no pressure. I paid for parking and my vehicle was damaged. They refuse to let me speak to the manager. I now have to come out of pocket 1500.00 to repair my vehicle. I will never stay here again. And I recommend no one stays here. This hell hole should be shut down.. I deleted and reposted my review because I am unable to speak to the manager. The response was contact us for a resolution. We can't we can only call the front desk and they refuse to give me a manager. So if you are a real owner and care for your customers you will respond to this with a phone number and do what's right. Not even my kids felt safe here in their own room and yes my oldest is 22. That's sad to hear them say it's worst than we're we live
For local users in Atlantic City searching for "Hotels Near Of Me," the Econo Lodge Beach and Boardwalk presents itself as an option, particularly for those prioritizing proximity to key attractions and seeking budget-friendly accommodation. Located at 3001 Pacific Ave, Atlantic City, NJ 08401, USA, this hotel positions guests within easy reach of the city's famous boardwalk and beach. The hotel's phone number is (609) 277-2285 and mobile phone is +1 609-277-2285.
The Econo Lodge brand is generally known for providing essential amenities at a value-oriented price point. As such, the Econo Lodge Beach and Boardwalk typically aims to offer fundamental services to ensure a basic, comfortable stay for its guests. Common features often include complimentary Wi-Fi, allowing guests to stay connected, and in some cases, a free continental breakfast to start the day. Rooms are generally equipped with air conditioning, a private bathroom, and a television. Some Econo Lodge properties also offer amenities such as a business center or a seasonal outdoor pool, though specific offerings at this Atlantic City location should be verified by prospective guests.
The environment around the Econo Lodge Beach and Boardwalk is a key aspect of its appeal. Its address on Pacific Avenue places it very close to the iconic Atlantic City Boardwalk, meaning guests can easily walk to the beach, enjoy the ocean, and explore the various shops, restaurants, and entertainment venues that line the boardwalk. This proximity to the city's main attractions, including numerous casinos such as Resorts Casino Hotel, Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City, and Bally's Atlantic City, is often highlighted as a significant advantage for travelers looking to experience the vibrant life of Atlantic City without extensive travel. The hotel is also relatively close to popular entertainment venues like the Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall and the Atlantic City Convention Center, making it a potentially convenient choice for those attending events or conferences.
In terms of services, Econo Lodge properties typically offer a 24-hour front desk, ensuring that staff are available to assist guests at any time. Housekeeping services are usually provided daily. While specific luxury services are not generally expected from an Econo Lodge, the focus is on delivering consistent, fundamental guest services to meet basic needs. Parking is often available, though it is important for guests to inquire about parking fees and availability directly with the hotel, as this can vary and may not always be free, as suggested by some customer feedback. The staff at the front desk is generally tasked with handling check-ins, check-outs, and addressing immediate guest concerns.
However, it is essential to provide an objective and comprehensive introduction, which necessitates incorporating genuine customer feedback. Numerous reviews from real customers for the Econo Lodge Beach and Boardwalk raise significant concerns regarding the hotel's condition, cleanliness, and overall guest experience. Recurring complaints include issues such as peeling paint on walls, pervasive mold smells in rooms, and inadequate water pressure in toilets. Reports of broken or malfunctioning room amenities, including non-working televisions, are also present. A particularly alarming issue mentioned in a review is the discovery of a drug needle in a room, indicating a severe lapse in cleanliness and safety protocols. Other guests have reported the presence of bugs in their rooms, further underscoring concerns about hygiene and pest control.
The customer service aspect also appears to be a point of contention for some guests. While the front desk is available 24/7, reviews indicate difficulties in reaching management to resolve serious issues, such as vehicle damage that occurred while parked on the premises. Guests have expressed frustration over the inability to speak with a manager directly, often being directed back to the front desk without a satisfactory resolution. The issue of smoking in non-smoking rooms, evidenced by ashtrays and burn marks, despite assurances from staff, also contributes to a negative perception of adherence to hotel policies and guest comfort.
Promotional information for the Econo Lodge Beach and Boardwalk would typically highlight its competitive pricing and its advantageous location near the beach and boardwalk, making it an attractive option for budget-conscious travelers aiming to explore Atlantic City. The brand's promise of "easy to find, easy to book, easy on your wallet" is a central theme. However, based on the prevalent customer reviews, prospective guests searching for "Hotels Near Of Me" and considering this specific Econo Lodge should approach their booking with tempered expectations regarding room condition, cleanliness, and the potential for a less-than-ideal guest experience. It is crucial for potential visitors to weigh the reported issues against the convenience of the location and the price point. Verifying specific amenities and asking direct questions about room conditions prior to booking, and perhaps even inspecting the room upon arrival if possible, would be highly recommended to avoid disappointment. Guests should also be aware of and factor in potential additional costs such as parking fees, as these can add to the overall expense and impact the perceived value of the stay.

Apr 23, 2025 · Scat Pack392BEWARE: Drug needle found in the room. This hotel is probably the worst and I’ve had plenty of below average rooms in Atlantic City. The fact that there was a needle directly under the sink in my room shows they didn’t even do the bare minimum, what if I had a kid there? Must’ve disturbed a nest of bugs in the room because 5 weird bugs dispersed out of nowhere at 3am. Guy at the counter said multiple times it was a non smoking room but there was an ashtray and burns everywhere. There was a TV that didn’t work as well, trust me I tried. Went to the lobby very upset about the DRUG needle and in my room and all I got was a refund for parking which should be free at the hotel in general considering I paid $300 for a one night room that I booked months in advance. Hoping that talking to corporate, telling everyone I know, and posting this review everywhere possible will help others in the future. Check out the photos.
Jan 02, 2025 · Kyle EncarnacionAdvertised as smoking and free parking. Not the case. Parking is $25 a night. Front desk guy tried scamming the woman in front of me by overcharging her for the same exact type of room I had. Refrigerator was broken and rusted. Looks like all the housekeepers do is take the garbage because there were crumbs, smudges, dust, stains, and the soaps and shampoos were all already open and a couple bars looked to have already been used. Definitely not worth $75 a night (or $90 a night for the woman in front of me, who I am sure had a very similar experience)
Nov 29, 2024 · Jacob VincentTHIS PLACE HAS ROACHES. like all over the rooms. I didn’t even feel comfortable enough to leave my things in there while I went to the boardwalk. 115$ down the drain because they wouldn’t refund me even after showed the videos I took of the roaches. I’m so disgusted.
Apr 20, 2025 · Cheyenne DavisFriendly staff but terrible experience. Room has those old panel ceilings, which had holes. Big roach crawled in late at night, and then dropped onto bed :( Had corner room outside of security camera view and a homeless person spent the night sleeping right against my door.
