Aug 31, 2023 · Stud _ NubWe stayed a week in this rambling farmhouse built in 1801. We only needed two of the eight bedrooms, but we used most of the rest of the house as well. The enormous dining room was a perfect place to hold a family reunion. The kitchen is stocked with most modern conveniences (coffee maker, toaster, fridge, etc.) along with all the dishware and cooking utensils you could possibly want. The legendary Edgehill porch is the most peaceful, sunny spot you can imagine to have breakfast. The expansive back yard gives way to a wooded trail, a path beaten by the hundreds of feet that went before us. At the end of that trail is the picturesque Mill Pond, a peaceful body of water that's good for fishing. We'd stay at Edgehill again in a heartbeat.
