Rooms were decent, nothing fancy but they were clean. Wish the mattresses were a little better. The only issues I ran into while there was the sofa bed, once folded out had trash under it, like food wrappers and used tissues and the actual mattress had what i assumed to be children's sticky food fingers on it. Nothing a few sheets over top couldn't resolve. Also I am a single parent that travels with my 14 yo autistic son. I'm trying to teach him independence skills so I like to get him his own room key when we start at hotels this way he can run to lobby or car without me and be able to open doors. This hotel has a policy only adults who the room is under can have a key.... never had this issue at any other hotel, I've always been able to have more than one key. After a good conversation with the desk clerk, I did secure the extra key for my son. Just don't feel like it should have been an issue but I also wasn't trying to push it as I know the clerk didn't make the rules. It all worked out though. The price was fine compared to going rates in the area. I would stay here again.

Promotions or Special Offers

Extended Stay America is well-known for its value-driven approach, and while specific "Arizona Resident" promotions might not be explicitly advertised by name, they frequently offer deals that are highly beneficial for locals or those needing longer stays in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area. It's always best to check their official website at extendedstayamerica.com or call them directly at (480) 483-1333 to inquire about current promotions.

Common types of offers you might find include:

  • Extended Stay Discounts: The longer you stay, the more you save. This is a core part of their model, with rates often decreasing significantly for weekly, multi-week, or monthly bookings. This is ideal for locals undergoing home renovations, temporary job assignments, or family visits.
  • Advance Purchase Rates: Booking your stay in advance can often unlock lower rates, though these might come with stricter cancellation policies.
  • Seasonal Promotions: Like many hotels in Arizona, Extended Stay America might offer seasonal deals, especially during the summer months when travel is typically slower. These could include discounted nightly rates.
  • "Extended Perks" Program: This is their loyalty program that offers "Instant Savings" and "Free Perks" without needing to collect points or earn status. Members often get exclusive rates and discounts on various services.
  • Military & Government Rates: For service members and government employees, special discounted rates are often available.
  • AAA/AARP Discounts: Members of these organizations can often receive a percentage off their stay.

Given their focus on extended stays, the most significant "promotion" is often the inherent cost-effectiveness of their longer-term rates compared to booking traditional hotel rooms for similar durations. If you're planning a stay of a week or more, it’s highly recommended to inquire about their weekly or monthly pricing.

Not a typical Extended stay location. No breakfast, just a “grab and go”. With coffee, single wrapped bioengineered muffins and food bars. Had Quick Oats for the first two days only. No milk or bowls. Dishwasher did not work and was filled with previous tenants dirty dishes.

We had a horrible experience! The room was disgusting! BUGS!!! And dead ones around the room and bathroom floors! I have bites all over my legs! And I wore leggings and long sleeves to sleep. The bedding was stained and the bed skirts had something all over them ( I don’t even want to guess what it was). No decent grab and go breakfast. The alarm clock was broken and the alarm kept going off, so we had to unplug it. There was a mold smell throughout the room. As a Cancer fighter, I have a compromised immune system and am really going to be surprised if I don’t get some sort of infection from the bites. If we could have voided our charges that we prepaid, we would have left right after check in. Never again!

Staff amazing. The Manager I believe her name was Ashley is the sweetest person you could ever meet. Very helpful and personable. Was just visiting family for a few days and she gave us some great places to visit and eat. She’s differently a gem.

I’m not even sure this deserves a 2 star. As the 3 staff members are not even paying attention to the line of people waiting on coffee. As I found the desk staff in the office doing her make up in the general managers office. The 2 other managers looked at me like I was a bother to whatever they were doing. Not sure what happened to serving the customers. Not to mention how dirty the halls are. And our bathtub was not clean. And there is definitely not breakfast
