Pros: - The hotel is relatively clean and not worn. - While the fitness center is a bit small, I never had a problem getting a treadmill. - There's a pool. Cons: - I realized that my room lock didn't work the morning after I slept there. The idea that anyone could've come in and taken my stuff while I was out or come in if I forgot to deadbolt the door is scary. To their credit, the staff quickly switched me to a different room when I alerted them to the issue. - The TV did not work in the first room I stayed in. - On my second stay, I arrived ~2 hours before check-in and asked if it was possible to check in early. They said that they'd only allow me to check in early if I paid $50. I don't expect hotels to have rooms ready before check in, but the idea that they would have a room ready and just let it sit there unless I pay them feels like they don't care about their guests. - The breakfast is not free, but it's also not as good as the free breakfasts at nearby hotels like the Holiday Inn North Scottsdale and the Residence Inn Scottsdale North. There was less variety and some of the options weren't replenished quickly. I'd prefer if they charged more and improved the quality.

Jun 08, 2025 · Katelynn KohlerI had an awful experience here, and could never reach a manager (although I tried!) to discuss my experience. I was moving, and had to find a place to stay for the night. I was VERY tired. at 5:15 a.m., the clock they had right next to the bed, and to which I had paid no attention, had an alarm go off. It was SUPER loud, and kept going off. I finally figured out how to turn it off. I complained the next morning to the staff. It was a weekend, so there was no manager there. They said I should have turned off the alarm prior to going to sleep. How was I to know whether the alarm was set for a very early time, or how to turn it off from an alarm setting without calling the front desk? That's not my forte. Also, why do they have clocks with alarms in the rooms? 98% of people own cellphones where you can set an alarm. It seems logical that they would have the stupid clocks with an alarm available for any guest who asks for one, instead of putting them in every room. Also, why don't they, as good customer service, have their maids check to clear any alarm settings when they are cleaning a room? It ruined my sleep on a day when I was about to drive for 8-10 hours. I could never reach the manager, who apparently has decided that making himself unavailable to talk to customers is the way to go. Awful experience. If you stay here, be warned that you may be woken up in the early hours, and that management won't care.
May 15, 2025 · Deborah BoydWe live in Phoenix and we're looking for a place for a staycation. My husband was set on finding a hotel that had a Jacuzzi tub in the room. We found this one and paid extra to have the Jacuzzi in it. The hotel literally had one room in the hotel with such a tub and we were in it. The night we checked in I realized the jets were filthy. My husband brought it to the attention of the front desk and they didn't offer to clean it. They did offer to move us to a room that had a patio to the pool because It was the same price. That didn't matter to us because we hadn't paid extra for that...but for the Jacuzzi tub. Upon checkout they did give us the difference of a regular room vs what we had paid for which totalled about $50. In addition to the tub there were other things that were just not up to par with the 4-star rating. You'll see in the pictures. There was also hair on the ceiling on the restroom, shower stall and walls. Those white blotches on the carpet weren't bleach...the were hard and felt like they could've been scrubbed off but cleaning service.
May 26, 2025 · Sharnita HendersonI love this hotel for its low key luxury. It's not over the top and the rooms are always so clean. I enjoy the little oasis in the back of the hotel very much. This is my staycation destination when I am able to get a good rate.
