Let's just get this out in the open. I am so sick of scanning QR codes for virtually it seems everything. This particular Fairfield Inn was particularly obnoxious in that regard in that I had to scan a QR to pay for parking. First off, why are you charging for parking???? In some facilities I get it. In this case there is no reason for this. Especially in light of the fact that there are probably 20-30 hotels in the vicinity that I can choose from that most don't. To say I felt a bit taken advantage of would be an understatement. Then to use a QR code based system that was very difficult to use. To top it off the desk person would not give me my key until she watched me scan the code to make sure I was going to "pay" Don't get the idea that I am not a regular traveler I spend about 200 nights per year out on the road. So, I am somewhat immune to things that happen out here. The fact that I am writing this review should indicate how badly this rubbed me the wrong way. Beware if you come here you will get shaken down. Outside that? Average, OK, nothing spectacular that otherwise would make me come back. Like I said with so many choices why would I choose this location again?

May 16, 2025 · Brad LehmanWe were in Pittsburgh to witness our younger son (38) retire from the US Air Force after 20 yrs of service. Our older son was also able to be there for this joyous & proud occasion. Being from NY, we spent 2 nights allowing us to get together with other family members afterward for dinner. The staff were most helpful in any questions we had. The breakfast both mornings was well prepared & the attendee did a fantastic job as there were also several young men & families there for a sporting event. The only downfall was having to pay for parking even tho there were ample spaces for guests.
Mar 18, 2025 · AnnHotel was inexpensive and clean. Staff were professional. The only downside is the parking: you have to use a clunky website and app that take forever to load and fails multiple times. Why not just add the daily parking to my bill so I can get my Bonvoy points? Nope, use this clunky app that the staff say when it doesn’t work: “I don’t know nothing ‘bout that! Everybody complains about it.” Yeah, me too. Me too.
Apr 19, 2025 · David Bobbitt**Extremely Disappointed – Ongoing Billing Issue & Unprofessional Behavior** I stayed at this hotel over a month ago, and I’m still dealing with unresolved billing issues. Before checkout, a staff member named Kathleen went into the system and charged my card twice—without my authorization. On top of that, there are still pending charges that have not been dropped from my account. To make matters worse, I experienced unprofessional and discriminatory treatment from Kathleen during my stay. Despite reaching out to management multiple times, nothing has been done to correct the charges or address her unacceptable behavior. This experience has been incredibly frustrating and disappointing. I expected better accountability and customer service from a place like this. I do not recommend staying here until these issues are addressed. ---
Apr 27, 2025 · Myreill Tru loveRoom was overall satisfactory and the bathroom well appointed and spacious. Breakfast hit the spot. Would have liked to have given 5 stars, but our Netflix account was not accessible thru the TV menu. Guest parking passes would make perfect sense, but the extra fee to park felt unnecessary.
