Lovely place right on the beach so a great position. Big, comfy bed, good powerful shower and Nespresso coffee supplied so all you need really. Not a luxury hotel but a lovely place to be in. Owners are very nice people who made sure you were happy. Two restaurants nearby and the town centre only a pleasant 25 minute walk away. We had a great stay and would recommend the Tides.

The staff was very nice and very accommodating! The room was clean and being right on the beach with a view from the room is a luxury in itself. The rooftop offers great views as well. I took off 1 star for something that could very well be a "me" problem but I feel is worth mentioning: the sheets were so heavily scented that I couldn't sleep the first night and ended up with an uncomfortable allergic reaction to the fragrance for the rest of the stay. When I asked for new sheets they were apologetic and they did change the sheets and pillowcases, but I think whatever they usually use just has a strong enough scent that it wasn't totally gone even after changing them. I am not typically sensitive to that kind of thing so it really threw me off.

Local Mass reaident that just needed a night away from the kids, puppy and busy city street noises. Found this place on a Friday night and booked a room Saturday morning to check in the same day. Rayssa, at the front desk, was amazing. Very friendly and a welcoming personality. Easy check in since we have almost all of the information they needed online. Keys to out room, #3, were given and parking was explained. For off season, the parking was already a bit weird. Parking spots clearly labeled with room numbers but it was a bit of a free-for-all, suppose it is asking an awful lot of people these days to just follow simple instructions, but again....being off season there were plenty of other room parking spots to choose from. #3 was a nice room, clean and bright. Figured it was worth a shot to go and see if we could pay for an upgrade to a second floor room that possibly was oceanside (#3 is first floor with the sliding door going to the parking lot). Rayssa understood my goal of having a window/door open and hearing waves hitting the beach, rather than my usual nightly sounds of cars and sirens at home, and after a few minutes relocated us to room #22. Second floor with great views of the water and Marth's Vineyard. Mostly quiet, walls are a bit thin/lacking of insulation for noise mitigation. Nespresso machine in the room, along with a record player and some records. Also TV with xfinity cable and access to Netflix and prime if you have an account. Was nice enough to log the previous guests out of their services. Thanks for a relaxing night away from life. Being local, I avoid the Cape during tourist season, but we will be back for sure during the off season.

At first I thought this hotel was a little too good to be true. A hotel in New England, reasonably priced (with booking only about a week or two in advance), dog friendly, and with a beachside view? But this hotel was everything it said it was and perfect for a quick stay in New England in my opinion. There is a private beach that the hotel and its guests have access to, with rooms facing either the beachfront or a balcony view over the beach. The location is a bit of a drive from the downtown center, but that is ok as the views from the hotel surely make up for it. The rooms are phenomenal and even (at least in my room) had a record player. The rooms were clean, the wifi was fast, the bathrooms, albeit a bit small, were clean and well stocked. I don't believe they serve breakfast here but there are plenty of cafes nearby that serve good food, like in downtown Falmouth or nearby Woods Hole. The staff were nice here as well and they have a small merchandise section in the lobby. Overall, if I am ever near Falmouth again this is my go to spot.
