May 16, 2025 · Carol O'KeefeWe just had a great mother-daughter getaway in off-season Ogunquit. We walked for miles on the beach each day and the Gorges Grant had a nice pool and hot tub, plus a glass of sparkling for us to enjoy afterwards. Everyone working there was friendly and helpful. We were just half a mile from the little town center, and the sidewalks were level and clear of snow for a nice stroll down to dinner and back. The restaurant at the hotel was only open at breakfast, and we had waffles and French toast with fresh berries to start our day. I think we'll be back again!
Jan 27, 2025 · Sarah LacasseI’ve stayed at the Gorges Grant Hotel twice now and loved my stay both times I went! The rooms are impeccably clean (some of the cleanest rooms I’ve seen in a hotel—ever), the staff is kind, and the hotel has plenty of parking and is centrally located to all. I will certainly be coming back!
Nov 12, 2024 · Andrew BandiniI can't disagree with anything Joe G. said below. I stumbled into Gorges Grant accidentally . About a month after I graduated college,1998, my girlfriend and I went to York to stay at a friends house for a little getaway, but when we got there it was like a college keg party, sleep wherever you can, floor couch etc and were we very much over that. So we drove up to Wells etc...and were starting to think we may have to go back to Connecticut after all the hours getting there and looking for a vacancy in July. BUT we saw the Gorget Grant, so once again I ran in to see if they had any room for us after explaing what a day we'd had. They did. It was quite, clean, relaxing and provided the down time we were really looking for, oh by the way 2 pools and a hot tub, next to the Egg and I and the Lobster pound. Now going on 50yrs old and haven't missed a summer stay at Gorges Grant since 32. Andit's true what everyone says about Marina. She's gone the extra mile for our stays, accomadated us in every way. You can train people to learn a reservation systen and to speak professionally but you can't teach kindness ot how to be good hearted and just sincerely a good person. Giri should somehow clone Marina for all of their front desks, business would increase big time and would keep guests coming back year after year, loyalty. Anyway, seey'all in May
Jan 11, 2025 · david taylorIncredibly clean and comfortable rooms at a fair rate. Free glasses of champagne in the beautiful lobby on check in! We spent the most enjoyable evening in October alternating between the hot tub, the pool, and the heated outdoor pool, which feels amazing at night after the air temperature drops.
