Mar 05, 2025 · Shreyash SharmaRun, don't walk, to another place to eat. This review is exclusively for the restaurant. We walked in on Mother's day at around 3PM for a light meal and some drinks. While the aesthetic of the lobby and restaurant we beautiful, that's where the positives stopped. We ordered a couple drinks (spicy bloody mary and parallel universe). The bloody mary had no spice and tasted like V8 with some vodka. We also ordered 2 orders of 6 of raw oysters. They didn't have them on the menu, but since there was another oyster dish, they told us they could accommodate. When the oysters came out, the waitress told us the chef only put 5 per plate, because they were "big". That's not really how this works. Oysters are paid by the piece. Huge red flag. They came out with no mignonette or cocktail sauce. We asked for horseradish, so we could make our own, but they don't have horseradish. At this point we just cancelled our meal, paid for the drinks and left. At no point did a manager come over to address the situation. The staff looked disinterested. Having been in the industry there were so many red flags throughout our short time here. Maybe they were having a bad day, but the fact that the restaurant was empty should have been an indicator to us of things to come. There are many better places in Princeton. Try one of those instead.
May 12, 2025 · A&E PrioriI absolutely LOVED this place! The location could not be better and more convenient. And it is the perfect Princeton hotel. It leans into this relationship with a wink but still maintains a high level of taste. Bar was vibrant (I feel like a hotel bar says everything about a hotel). Even better, the cocktail program was smart and spanned the ages of graduating classes and drink styles. So smart AND so delicious. The wallpaper in the workout room was bespoke Princeton in a "Captain Underpants" graphic style. And the notepads in the rooms mimicked canteen test sheets & were accompanied by #2 pencils. Again, made me smile. Would definitely recommend. That said, I imagine in a place where when crowds come they really come...this will not always be an easy stay to secure.
Jan 01, 2025 · Anthony MastromatteoBeautiful place. Striking decor in lobby and rooms. Mechanics need some fine tuning. A/C did not work properly. One night it switched off at 3 am and couldn’t be restarted. the next night it cooled the room to 62 and wouldn’t turn off. Also, terrible WiFi.
May 20, 2025 · Jmark MondayFantastic experience. It is a gorgeous hotel. The restaurant/lounge offers a classy yet laid back environment with top notch cuisine. The seared Bronzino was excellent - compliments to the Chef. Martinis were made perfectly. Cannot recommend this enough for a place to stay in Princeton. 10/10 worth it.
