Mar 18, 2025 · KeithThe hotel is okay. In serious need of remodeling. Carpet and wallpaper is outdated. Television is way too small for the room size. Location is good. Pool is good. Probably a little overpriced.
Jun 18, 2025 · Bill RexThis is a bitter sweet review. I happen to land at this hotel during troubling times. With all the chaos I was totally impressed with how the morning desk worker and over night worker handled stressful moments. Check in went super well. This is an older hotel and I am told renovations are soon to come, yet the rooms were nicely done and clean. I could tell they put a lot of effort into keeping their rooms looking nice. At the end of my stay, I needed to exit sooner than expected. The desk worker was very helpful as she assisted me with check out. I gave location one star because I think security could be increased. Overall I gave 5 stars, because I loved customer service and the hard work that was done to maintain the room.
Jan 07, 2025 · Princess DWhile the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, these have to be the sweatiest, dankest, and most humid hotel rooms I’ve ever stayed in. The AC would cool the room down but the cycle humid, yet cooled, air. I slept wet the entire night.
Jun 17, 2025 · Isaac WristonWe used to stay often at Hampton Inn's because we could rely on consistently good accommodations. I am done with Hampton Inns because of a recent experience. I checked in online thinking it would speed things up and use my phone as the key to my room. My wife and I were getting on the elevator and the door closed on my wife cutting her arm. The door was obviously defective as they are supposed to stop when someone is in the doorway. My wife reported it to the front desk and the staff seemed unconcerned and offered her a band aid. We went to our room and the door would not open with my phone and the Hilton app as advertised. I had to go back downstairs and get keys made to which the desk person said "oh yah that happens all the time". We returned to our room which was about 1/2 the size of a normal room. The room had a musty smell like it hadn't been stayed in for quite some time. I'm 6'2" and 200 lbs and could barley fit in the shower which was 24" wide. And the toilet was smaller than normal. I was beginning to wonder if this was a special room built for children. In the morning we had the breakfast which was totally unimpressive. There were a pile of pre made omelets that looked like the plastic omelets in our granddaughter's Barbie Doll set. The bananas were on their last leg. The coffee was good. We checked out but had to make several trips carrying our luggage to the car because all of the luggage carts (3) were in use. My wife and I are disappointed to see the Hampton Inn brand going down hill. We have stayed in Hampton Inn's all over the country but no more. We will find another travel home in the future. I gave it one star because zero wasn't an option.
