Highbridge Hotel

Wonderful! A great find! The price was fantastic. The room was basic, but that's all I wanted and needed. Spotless! Traffic at night, so do use earplugs if you're a light sleeper. The breakfast is sumptuous: complete and steadily restocked, authentic mini-pancakes, real (not instant) oatmeal, eggs, bacon or sausage, great coffee (with half-and-half or milk)--really impressive. Friendly staff! Well, that was the only blip. When I explained that my phone is talk/text only, the young woman working check-in was rude and inflexible about downloading the app--but a young man stepped in to help me and solved the problem. So nearly all of the staff was cool and professional. Not in NYC much, but I plan to come here again. I HIGHLY recommend the HIGHbridge.

My stay was great from check-in to check-out. Check-in was quick and easy. I requested an additional blanket and received it right away. I stayed in the King studio Suite. The room was so very spacious and clean. I loved the lazy boy chair. The water pressure in the shower was so good!! The breakfast every morning was delicious!!! Your breakfast team (2 women, 1 man) were very nice and kept the area clean. They cooked the food fast and it was delicious. I love that they make fresh eggs, bacon, sausages, potatoes , mini pancakes and oatmeal daily!! I made sure to tip every morning. They deserve it!! The highlight for me was the free coffee all day and night!! I love coffee and it was so fresh every time. Shoutout to the cleaning crew, the hotel smells really nice and every time I left my room and came back they cleaned my bathroom so pristinely. My bed was always made. The front desk staff were very friendly and nice. I will definitely stay at Highbridge Hotel and have already recommended them to a few of my friends and family. The location is great! There are stores, restaurants, and transportation ( 4train, 35 bus) nearby. I’m originally from the Bronx but was here from out of town visiting family and Highbridge Hotel felt homey and relaxing, which is exactly what I needed for this trip. I’ll be back soon and thank you to your whole team for such a great stay!!

My wife and I traveled to NYC from the west coast of Canada. We chose the Highbridge hotel because our dollar is doing so poorly against the American dollar right now, so we had to make an economical decision. I'm glad we made that decision. The hotel staff was very friendly and accomodating. When we found out our room was on the street side of the hotel we asked to be moved to the backside of the building and they accomodated my request very promptly. Orlando went above and beyond for us. The continental breakfast and the staff that served it were fantastic. The location is in very close proximity to the 167th Street subway station. Only a 2 minute walk. It's about a 10 minute walk to Yankee Stadium as well. My wife and I felt safe on all our walks around the hotel. 1520 Sedgwick Ave is a 20 minute walk from the hotel. We walked there as well, with absolutely no issues. The rooms were clean and big enough for us. Thank you to the entire staff at the Highbridge hotel for you professionalism and care. If we're ever back in NYC we will surely be staying at the Highbridge.

We had a fantastic weekend at the Highbridge Hotel. The breakfast was excellent, the location is incredibly convenient—just steps away from a subway station—and the parking made our stay even more stress-free. The staff was exceptional, providing top-notch service that truly enhanced our experience. The only downside was a bit of noise from outside during the night, but it didn’t detract much from our overall stay. We’ll definitely be coming back again!

I stayed at this hotel the last weekend of January and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Yankee Stadium/Bronx/Upper Manhattan area. -Friendly and accommodating front desk staff who went above and beyond: asked more than once if we needed anything, walked us out to our car even though it was just right there on the premises, gave us a restaurant recommendation, etc. -The best continental breakfast I have ever had at a hotel of this caliber: food is prepared fresh by cooks right in front of you and there is an abundance of options: real eggs (hard boiled and scrambled), mini pancakes, tater tots, oatmeal, bagels, fresh fruit, fresh coffee, etc. And the staff is very attentive to cleaning up dishes once you're done, too -Room was clean and tidy; the housekeeper even folded and pressed the toilet paper into a flower shape, which just shows their attention to detail -Lots of cameras on premises, so you feel pretty safe -Gated parking is available right there on the property (unless it's full, of course, but that wasn't the case when I was there) -And all of this at an affordable price for NYC!
