Check-in was somewhat fast. For check out, you just drop the key card at the desk. The room was a decent size for the 6 of us. Sound proofing seemed good. A microwave and small fridge were available. Breakfast was okay. Eggs, sausage, pancakes, muffins, juice, milk, and coffee. Parking was a little extra. Didn't have time to check out anything else at the hotel.

For us Tennesseans, the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Nashville Metrocenter Downtown by IHG offers a particularly suitable and appealing option for a range of local needs. If you’re considering a "staycation" in Nashville, especially for a family outing or a trip centered around events at Nissan Stadium, this hotel provides excellent value. The complimentary hot breakfast is a fantastic start to any day, and the unique indoor/outdoor pool offers year-round fun, which is a big plus for families looking for a local escape. While the self-parking has a small fee, the truly remarkable benefit for locals is the reported Uber service to Broadway. This means you can enjoy a night out downtown without the hassle and cost of navigating parking, making a city staycation even more relaxing and convenient.
Furthermore, for those frequently hosting out-of-town guests, this Holiday Inn Express is a smart recommendation, particularly for visitors traveling with children or those who appreciate reliable service and good value. Guests consistently praise the "excellent service" from the front desk staff (like Reynesha and Dervin) and the comfort provided by the housekeeping team, ensuring your visitors feel welcomed and well-cared for. The "decent size" rooms with microwaves and mini-fridges are ideal for families. While one review mentioned a minor TV issue, the overall positive feedback on cleanliness, amenities, and especially the staff and complimentary breakfast, makes this hotel a solid choice for providing a comfortable, convenient, and truly hospitable Nashville experience for locals and their cherished guests.

Jun 09, 2025 · Justin BuzzardMy partner and I stayed 4/17 - 4/19 and loved the hotel! The pool was half indoor, half outdoor - which we really liked! Breakfast in the morning was spectacular! While partner said that the women who run it are 10/10! They even sang a song! Reynesha and Dervin, at the front desk, provided excellent service and were so kind and knowledgeable! This hotel will pay for an uber down to broadway which I thought was lovely! Also a big thank you to the house keeping staff, our room was clean and comfortable ! *only complaint, our tv wouldn't allow for our phones to "cast" to the tv so we could watch Netflix, etc. I think the adaptor is broken - room 225!*
Apr 22, 2025 · Hali MadelineStayed for 3 days to explore Nashville. We used an uber to get to Nashville rathernthan drive .. Receptionist told us to walk a few blocks if getting an uber to return, as Nashville can get busy for pickup. Hotel was clean and rooms were a nice size. comfy bed and pillows, quiet aircon too, coffee was ok but you could get a costa in the lobby. Used the laundry, only 1 washing and 1 drying machines that only take quarters, so got more from the lobby. Unfortunately one black mark against the hotel was a young receptionist who wore glasses was SO Rude, with a couldn't be bothered attitude when we checked in, really put a damper on the first night at the hotel, luckily the other lady was much friendlier, almost embarrassed at her colleagues behaviour was the one with the Uber tip... Other staff were great and friendly. The hotel served its purpose for us and we had a good stay. Only had breakfast once, no big deal, you just helped yourself.
Jun 17, 2025 · Mandy SmithEasy access to broadway and all the fun with super staff, great breakfast and clean spaces. This hotel surprised us. We expected average and got a lot more! Tina and Jackie in the breakfast room were such delightful ladies. They are true gems!!
Jun 03, 2025 · Hayley ColeThis was the worst experience at a Holiday Inn EVER. If I could give zero stars I would. Some of the staff, including one of your managers and a security guard, are unprofessional and incompetent. First, the pictures on the site of the hotel do not show a realistic picture of the property. It appears to have more ample parking than it actually does. When my husband and I arrived at the hotel, we quickly realized that parking our Uhaul truck and trailer was going to be a little more difficult than we thought. There were other Uhauls parked sideways along the perimeter of the lot, which left us no space around the perimeter to duplicate the same. There was a back row of about 8 empty spaces. So my husband parked along those spaces (which still left about 25 spaces late in the evening) and my husband and I went to check in. The young lady at check in knew we parked there, because when we went inside to check in we told her. We were even asked by her to write our make and model down as, "Uhaul and trailer". However, after going back to the truck to make sure it was secure for the night and to gather our personal items, a security guard approached us. He said the truck was too big and that we could not park it that way. His approach to the entire situation was off-putting and rude. We weren't trying to double park at some night club or bar. But the way he approached us in the lot and spoke to us- like a bouncer, that's what it felt like. I explained that we had already checked in and the desk clerk was aware. I then pointed to 2 other Uhaul trucks in the lot, including one that was the same size as our truck, minus the trailer. He said he had just gotten to work (we arrived around 8:30pm) to see all of the trucks in the lot and none of us should be there. I asked what his solution was to the problem and he didn't know. Just kept repeating that we couldn't park inside the lot. Even suggested that we park out on the street but there was really no street parking without blocking a lane and also we didn't feel comfortable putting our truck out on an unfamiliar road with literally all of our possessions. We said we would just leave after a refund. But he said the hotel doesn't give refunds. I responded that if they were denying parking then we needed a refund so we could go park at a hotel that could accommodate. He said that he would call one of the managers who had gone home. He then proceeded to call her on FaceTime While she was IN BED to show her the truck and tell her what was going on. Her solution was to park the truck against the inside closed side of the fence which was great. Only one entrance was open. My husband's spent nearly 15 minutes maneuvering the truck into that space only for her to decide that she didn't think it was okay to park there.. By this time, it was nearing 9:30 pm. We had just driven for 11 hours to be met with this ridiculous clown show. She offered a refund, and now at 9:30 after wasting time we were left with a difficult choice to park outside on the road, in a lane or risk sleeping in the truck for the night. The security guard promised to keep his eyes on her truck because he said that it was his job to sit outside all night. Then he said he would "authorize" a parking refund for me. Oh how gracious, since I couldn't park there. The picture on this site needs to accurately show the perimeter. It also needs to specifically say that U hauls/moving trucks can't be parked at the hotel. Your security guard needs to know his place and when he should interfere between customers and the staff. He also needs to worry about doing his actual job rather than posturing himself. We went back to our truck twice before bed. He wasn't around either time. And lastly, it's crazy that you don't have a night manager for customer concerns. I'd never stay here again. I am an IHG Member and it really has me reconsidering.
