I recently stayed at this location for business purposes. Overall, my stay was pleasant and as expected until it came to my billing and the communication that followed. My stay was booked through a 3rd party site by a representative of my employer rather than by me personally. As this is a common practice for me, I'm familiar with the need to provide a credit or debit card for incidentals even though the room has already been fully paid for. When I arrived, the location was experiencing computer issues and the front desk made every effort to be accommodating to get me checked into a room as early as possible since they knew I would be checking out at approximately 2 AM. Unfortunately, while manually entering my card information, my card was listed as the billing card for the room as well as for the incidentals. The receptionist noticed the error immediately and said that they would get it resolved as soon as their system was back up and running correctly. I had no reason to doubt her so I went to my room and continued with my stay as normal. However, a couple of weeks later while reviewing my debit card billing statement, I noticed an unexpected charge for the room fee and a resulting NSF fee when I used my card later at other vendors. I called back to the hotel and spoke with a receptionist (Gracie) who acknowledged and remembered the incident. She explained that she would pass my information on to a manager who would be able to resolve my concerns. The following week, I called back 2 more times and was connected to the voicemail of the Assistant General Manager. I was unable to clearly understand his name, but his greeting indicated that he was on site but away from his desk as would return my call as soon as possible. Twice I left a voice message with the details of my concern and my personal contact information so he could call me back. I'm writing this review a full week after my THIRD call to the hotel to get this resolved as I still have not received a return call. Because I reported this disputed charge to my bank, my card was locked and I've had to wait for a replacement card before I could access my funds while traveling.

Footprint Center for Suns game, Salt River Fields for Spring Training, Phoenix Municipal Stadium for ASU baseball, and then the Phoenix Zoo as well. Lots of food options and shopping close by. Clean rooms and great breakfast! Also, great friendly service from the staff. My only two issues... 1- Elevators were very slowly and seemed shaky at times. Definitely in need of maintenance. And 2- Can't get quarters for laundry from the hotel. If you don't keep cash on-site, then how can we use the laundry facility on-site. Not a deal breaker for me; just annoying I had to go find a roll of quarters (recommend Fry's grocery for that)

At 1:30 in the morning, my wife, 10-month-old daughter, and I were woken up by hotel staff banging on our door and telling us we were in the wrong room and needed to vacate immediately. This was despite the fact that we had checked into the room they assigned us—which was clearly indicated on our keycard. As if that disruption wasn’t enough, we were woken up again at 6:00am with a call from the front desk asking for our last name—something that should have been clear from our reservation. There was no apology for the chaos or the incredibly unprofessional handling of the situation. We lost an entire night of sleep, had to console a crying baby in the middle of the night, and wasted reward points that we had been saving for a meaningful getaway. The disorganization and lack of accountability from the staff were beyond frustrating. I expected better and would strongly advise others to think twice before booking here—especially families or anyone hoping for a peaceful stay. After follow-up with the hotel and an assurance from the front office manager (Tiffany) that "We will make this right for you", I'm still stuck without a resolution. Neither this location, nor IHG corporate is willing to take responsibility for the mishap via refund or points to my account. Each says the other has responsibility. You guys can do better.
May 02, 2025 · S DaileyBest part of this hotel is the man who works behind the counter his energy and friendly disposition is top notch. The elevator on way down takes a minute or two to open so don’t worry you’re not stuck it just tries 3 times before opening. The area of the hotel isn’t the best and the hotel is dated and needs some attention. Not to worry about dirty clothes though they have laundry except you have to cross a 6 lane road and buy something from the gas station to get quarters because hotel doesn’t keep change for use of laundry.

It's right near the well aged Arizona Mills mall, but even so there was a lack of decent places (and affordable) places to walk to eat. Overall it was okay not special.
