It was late when we arrived and the lady was so kind to my husband and we were thankful to have a place less than 10 minutes from where needed to be. For the price I was completely satisfied. Feb 11, 2025 · Stacey BoydWe stayed 1 night and almost slept in the car. The Kady working the front desk was friendly and helpful. The people staying/living there are sketchy as hell and made us feel unsafe. The rooms are disgusting blackmold and mildew in the bathroom. I think the towels use to be white at 1 time, but they were brown with stains. Stains on the bedding. Dead bugs on the floor next to the bed. None alive though. We could overhear the sketchy guests talking about us being fresh meat. Nit a place you want to stay.
Jul 28, 2024 · Sara McCarvilleWhat a dump. Parking lot full of cig buts , towels had been washed but were stained, knob for shower missing and tub was dirty, floor was dirty clumps of pet hair, room next door had 2 cats and a dog, 6:45 am someone outside yelling across the parking lot. Sign in office that says if you stay in your room more than 15 min no refund, that says it all.
May 10, 2024 · Mark AndersonI don’t know how to describe this room. It’s beyond bad. I’m not a diva - I don’t need or ask for much - but I’ve never seen a hotel room like this. It’s the most amazingly bad room I’ve ever seen. I feel like I’m in India or something. But that might be mean to India. I would highly suggest giving this place a pass - unless you want to see the worst of the worst - which I’m actually kind of excited about. How does this place exist? I seriously can’t grasp how this is possible. A few details: dirty sheets, dirty towels, mold on walls, mold on ceiling, one of the beds is shaped like a taco (but to be fair, the microwave between the beds is convenient - if you need a midnight snack). I haven’t had the bug issues yet - but we haven’t gone to bed. There’s another review from a couple weeks ago which is making me nervous about turning off the lights to be greeted by our roach overlords. Definitely sleeping in my clothes. Never done that before. Seriously, this place is wow. I do love the vibe outside though - people grilling in the back of their trucks, pets, good vibes for sure. So, that’s a plus - but that’s outside. Not helping me much for sleepy time.
Oct 28, 2023 · Jered GruberIf you are coming down near Blacksburg try to find a place closer to Christiansburg. The place is unfortunately… dated and dilapidated. One cockroach in the room… fine. Three to four cockroaches… within minutes? Ants crawling out of the sink? We had to get out. Unfortunately there are no refunds here so be mindful when booking. All rooms are smoking rooms. For the price and if I traveled here on my own I would’ve been content. But since I brought my family, unfortunately they were not pleased. Holiday Lodge please do something about the insects in the room.
