I had an amazing experience at the holly tree resort. Chris was the gentleman who checked us in and out and he was amazing. The pools and rooms were very clean. For the price, this place is unbeatable and in a great location. The only downsides in my opinion are that the hallways had a slight smell to them like the carpet was a bit old, and that the toilet in the restroom was very close to the wall and not easy to use if you’re big or tall. Overall 9/10 would recommend!
For those seeking a memorable and value-driven stay on Cape Cod, especially when searching for "Hotels Near Of Me" in the West Yarmouth area, Holly Tree Resort presents itself as an excellent choice. Located at 412 MA-28, West Yarmouth, MA 02673, USA, and reachable via phone at (508) 771-6677 or +1 508-771-6677, this resort is designed to provide a comfortable and activity-rich experience for families and individuals alike.
The environment at Holly Tree Resort is structured to offer both convenience and a sense of retreat. Situated on MA-28, it benefits from a central location that provides easy access to the main "strip" of attractions, dining, and shopping in West Yarmouth and beyond. Despite being centrally located, guests often note that it's "far enough that it was still quiet," allowing for a peaceful respite after a day of exploration. The resort spans a property that aims to be family-friendly, with various recreational areas and well-maintained grounds. While one customer review mentioned "hallways had a slight smell to them like the carpet was a bit old," the overall impression of cleanliness, particularly in the rooms and pools, is consistently positive, reflecting a commitment to upkeep. The exterior design is typical of a resort-style property, focusing on functionality and providing access to the various amenities, including ample free self-parking for guests, a significant advantage for those arriving by car and looking for "Hotels Near Of Me" with easy parking.
Internally, Holly Tree Resort offers a range of accommodations, including studios and one-bedroom suites, designed to provide guests with a "home away from home" experience. Reviews consistently highlight that "The rooms were very clean." Many units are equipped with a "fully equipped kitchenette," which includes a refrigerator, microwave, coffee/tea maker, and cookware/dishes/utensils. This feature is a major draw for families and those looking to save on dining expenses by preparing their own meals. Rooms also typically come with amenities such as flat-screen TVs with DVD players, free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and hairdryers. One guest noted the toilet was "very close to the wall and not easy to use if you’re big or tall," which indicates a minor design quirk in some bathrooms, but overall, the comfort and practicality of the rooms are well-regarded. The presence of a separate bedroom in the one-bedroom suites provides added privacy and space, which is particularly beneficial for families.
The services at Holly Tree Resort are geared towards providing a comprehensive and enjoyable stay. The staff receives high praise, with comments such as "Chris was the gentleman who checked us in and out and he was amazing" and "Staff was friendly." This suggests a commitment to excellent customer service, which significantly enhances the guest experience. The front desk operates for limited hours (typically 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM), and guests arriving outside these hours are advised to contact the property in advance for check-in instructions. While daily housekeeping is often provided, some reviews have indicated that it may not be automatic and guests might need to request fresh towels or supplies. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the property, ensuring guests can stay connected. The resort also offers self-serve laundry facilities, a valuable amenity for longer stays or for families. There is no on-site restaurant for regular meals beyond possibly some grab-and-go options, but the kitchenettes in the rooms mitigate this, and the resort's central location means dining options are easily accessible nearby.
Holly Tree Resort boasts an impressive array of features and amenities that significantly enhance its appeal as a vacation destination. A major highlight, frequently lauded by guests, are the "awesome indoor and outdoor pools." The indoor pool is heated, and the outdoor pool provides a refreshing option during warmer months. Critically, the "hot tub that was actually hot with strong jets" is a recurring positive comment, indicating a well-maintained and effective spa facility. For families, there is also a children's pool. Beyond swimming, the resort offers a well-equipped fitness center, ensuring guests can maintain their exercise routines. Recreational facilities extend to an arcade/game room, basketball courts, and racquetball/squash courts. There's also a library for quiet relaxation. For outdoor enjoyment, the resort provides BBQ facilities and a picnic area, perfect for al-fresco dining. Its "amazing location" is a key feature, being "within minutes" of the main strip and awesome beaches like Seagull Beach (approximately a 6-minute drive or 0.7 miles), making it convenient for beachgoers. Other nearby attractions include the Cape Cod Inflatable Park (a 10-minute walk) and the Whydah Pirate Museum (a 2-minute drive), making it ideal for family outings. The resort is also close to various golf courses and a short drive to the Nantucket ferry and the John F. Kennedy Hyannis Museum. The resort is generally popular with families due to its array of amenities and room types. However, it's important to note that pets are not allowed at this property.
When considering promotional information, Holly Tree Resort would strongly emphasize its "unbeatable" price to value ratio, a point frequently echoed by satisfied customers. Its "amazing location" near beaches and family-friendly attractions would be a primary selling point for those searching for "Hotels Near Of Me" on Cape Cod. The comprehensive recreational facilities, especially the indoor and outdoor pools and the truly hot tub, would be prominently featured. The availability of spacious studios and one-bedroom suites with kitchenettes would appeal to families and extended-stay guests looking for the conveniences of home. Promotions might include seasonal deals, special packages for longer stays, or family vacation bundles that highlight the resort's amenities. The consistent positive feedback regarding the staff's friendliness and the overall cleanliness of the resort would be leveraged to build trust with potential guests. While there might be occasional mentions of older carpets or bathroom configurations, the overwhelming sentiment from reviews points to a highly recommended stay that delivers on its promises of comfort, value, and family fun in a prime Cape Cod location.

Jul 06, 2024 · Andrew CruzPrice to value unbeatable! Amazing location - the strip and awesome beach within minutes, yet far enough that it was still quiet. Staff was friendly, awesome indoor and outdoor pools, and a hot tub that was actually hot with strong jets!
Aug 13, 2024 · Danielle BaliWe stayed there for a week in July 2024. We were very pleased with the room. We had a one bedroom. The front desk was extremely friendly and informative in the room actually looked like the pictures I would highly recommend this place to stay.
Jul 26, 2024 · Ursula SousaThere is no room service during your stay. You need to swap your linens and towels at the front desk.
Feb 19, 2025 · Mark NephewThe “resort” was firstly a bit disappointing since it was a very low-budget trip for us. We figured there would be a whole lot to do there. To us, it was a very nice hotel with a few nice amenities but fell short in what we would define as a “resort”. But to their credit we noticed places in the area that were much smaller but still named themselves a resort. The rooms were very nice, the pool area also nice. They also have some “stand-alone” cottage-type buildings that looked nice. They didn’t do daily cleaning probably because of the off season - we didn’t mind. We were bothered that we were told no dogs allowed then saw a number of dogs in and around the buildings. The door to the hall had such large gaps in the bottom and sides that the bright hallway lights bothered us at night. The shower head (with its lack of pressure) could’ve been better and we didn’t like the squeaking bathroom door which disturbed us when one had to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night. In all, not a bad place. To us, they’d have to have more amenities and at least a cafe or on-site place to eat before we’d consider it a resort.
