Jun 17, 2025 · Eileen TThe experience we had here was not what I am accustomed to as a Hilton Rewards Member. From towels having entangled hair in them to torn up sofas and dirty sheets. This was not the usual Hilton experience. I was in town for an event. I chose this Hilton because of the proximity to the location of my event. Had it not been for time constraints, I would’ve checked out immediately. Upon arrival the room had a smell to it. Like stuffiness or something. Not funky, just not a clean smell. The hallway smelled like marijuana. There was tape along the walls on the corner frames where the corner trim was separating from the wall. Once in the room we began to immediately get ready for the event. After showering I reached for a towel and noticed hair in the fibers. I was disgusted so I went for another one and it too had hair all in it. I checked the bed to see if the sheets were good since the towel weren’t and the fitted sheet was stained with something. I called the front desk for fresh sheets and towels. I told the girl It was as if someone just turned the sheets back on the bed instead of changing them. I told her that Hair was literally entangled in the fibers of the towels. Not one but four of them. Two body towels had hair, one hand towel and washcloth. When the gentleman came I tried to ask about clean sheets because he only handed me towels and he said No English. I had to call the front desk again and the same person came and changed the linen. The couch was damaged so I took photos just in case. My husband said “that looks like it’s been like that for some time now”. It wasn’t the best room but we dealt with it and checked out first thing in the morning vowing that we won’t be staying here again. Sorry I forgot to take photos of the bed and walls in the hallway but I included the towels and sofa. The front desk staff was polite and was available 24hrs. Would I recommend this location: most likely no. The rate was reasonable for a one night stay. I would not return. I frequent Maryland as I have family there but we won’t be staying here again.
Jun 15, 2025 · Tanika HendersonLocation was nicely tucked in, great for getting everywhere in that area. Didn’t like all the traffic and speed cams in Maryland though, felt like it created a greater hazard driving. As for the hotel, rooms had to have been recently renovated, thermostat didn’t work the unit in the room. Had to manually run it. Only thing that drops this rating down, is the floors were oily, the carpeted floors in the hotel, and the entire hotel wreaked of marijuana and cigarette smoke. Don’t care if people smoke, but don’t want to stay somewhere and inhale it for the week. As for the hotel, one minor complaint, there was a surprise parking fee not listed on the site. It said complimentary parking, but then was charged for parking each night. The staff though were great and super nice people. Very friendly and attentive. The breakfast was one of the better breakfast bars, with changing items daily, that I’ve ever seen.
Mar 30, 2025 · Ali SoheilianWe arrived with our two young children from NC and there were large birthday banners attached to the side of the building and decorations on the outdoor patio. There was about 20 kids in the small indoor pool area screaming, spraying everyone with water blasters (including myself and husband) it was absolute mayhem and out of control. We ended up leaving the pool area because we kept getting sprayed even after we both asked not to be. I complained to the front desk and the woman did not seem phased in the least bit. There was no manager to speak with when I asked and when I called customer service, I was transferred back to the front desk lady who said she already spoke with the woman hosting the party. We tried to leave the hotel for dinner and were met at the elevator on the 4th floor by kids armed with water blasters and water balloons running and screaming up and down the halls. We left and the party had loud rap music blaring as if it was a block party. The entire patio stunk of cigarettes and weed which made it very awkward and uncomfortable for our family with small children. This morning they devoured breakfast as fast as they were bringing it out and cutting in line to get the food so there was none left for anyone else. I was absolutely blown away by how rude, inconsiderate and disrespectful this group was, and the lack of response by staff who allowed it to go on for as long as it did. It ruined our arrival yesterday and this morning. We have 4 more days here so we hope the remainder of our stay is uneventful. Apparently we were not the only ones who complained as this was seen at the front desk tonight when asked to enter the pool which was very cloudy. Thank you for trying although they are probably gone now. (Hopefully) Not a good look when your hotel has to make memos like this for guests to sign.
Jun 15, 2025 · Melissa SpanglerI stayed at this hotel after coming to Baltimore for a family event. Check-in was great by the two front desk associates. They were kind and very engaging, I appreciated that. Our room was clean and appointed along with spacious. Unfortunately, it was unbearable with the individuals' overtop of us approximately 10:30pm the thumping, stomping and overall rudeness of the noise we couldn't sleep/rest. We called the front desk to report in which we were told would be handled. Shortly after, it got worse! We called again to be moved but was told no rooms were available. I looked for other hotels around us because we were going to check out and go elsewhere, but no one answered at nearby hotels for us to book. Our sleep didn't come until about 3 a.m. with us having to arise at 7 a.m. I reported it to the amazing young lady who originally checked me in when I saw her the next evening. She apologized and made it right for our last stay. I appreciated her customer service and concern over what we had experienced. I believe that because of her, I would give this hotel another try on a future Maryland visit. Guests need to be cognizant and respectful of others during their stay with the noise.
