Very disappointed after hosting two events and attending several others. The positives: wait staff has been friendly and accommodating - no issues. Beautiful building and location. The cons: parking. If there is an event in Skippack the vendors set up in the parking lot. Patrons must use the upper parking lot (difficult for our senior) or pay to park. Mother’s Day Brunch used to be lovely. Now the buffet is in the doorway as you walk in. The pancakes are the size of the frozen boxed kind - (cold and edges hard) - microwaved? No longer made to order and hot - the quarter sized salmon was cold, no butter offered for green beans or bread. Quiche was okay but cold - two different versions plus scrambled eggs. Pasta did not have any flavor - two kinds. Did not see the fresh fruit bowl/platter listed on the menu. The eggs Benedict, bacon and sausage were good. Desserts were good. Passing for next year. Not worth $60 per person.

When considering any establishment through a "Hotels Near Me" search, it is crucial to gather a comprehensive understanding of what to expect, encompassing its environment, services, features, and any available promotional information, alongside the experiences of previous guests. This introduction aims to provide an objective overview based on publicly available information and customer feedback.
The "Hotels Near Me" category is designed to connect users with immediate or conveniently located establishments. Hotel Fiesole, situated on Skippack Pike in Collegeville, positions itself within a picturesque and historic area. Collegeville itself is a borough in Montgomery County, known for its blend of suburban comfort and rural charm, with local businesses and access to larger cultural and commercial centers. Skippack Pike is a notable road that runs through the charming village of Skippack, which is often recognized for its unique boutiques, art galleries, and restaurants. The "Beautiful building and location" mentioned in a customer review suggests that the hotel benefits from its aesthetic appeal and its placement within this appealing setting. The environment surrounding Hotel Fiesole likely offers a tranquil atmosphere, potentially with scenic views, making it suitable for both leisure and event-based stays. Its proximity to Skippack Village also means guests have access to a variety of local attractions and activities within walking distance or a short drive.
Hotel Fiesole operates not only as a hotel but also prominently as an event venue and features an on-site restaurant. Therefore, its services cater to a diverse clientele. Standard hotel services would typically include front desk assistance, room cleaning, and possibly concierge services. Given its nature as a boutique hotel (implied by the architecture and focus on events), services might also include personalized attention, event planning support, and catering services for functions. The presence of an on-site restaurant, frequently referred to as "Ristorante Fiesole," indicates comprehensive dining services including breakfast, lunch, and dinner, as well as banquet services for events. The customer reviews confirm that wait staff are generally "friendly and accommodating," suggesting a focus on positive guest interactions in service delivery. For event hosts, services would extend to dedicated event coordination, setup, and breakdown, in addition to culinary offerings. Information regarding amenities such as Wi-Fi, parking, and accessibility features would be vital for guests, and these are usually standard for hotels in this category.
The features of Hotel Fiesole are primarily highlighted by its distinctive building and its multi-functional capabilities. The "Beautiful building" is a recurring positive comment, suggesting a unique architectural style or historical significance that adds to its charm and appeal. This architectural feature could include elements reminiscent of Italian design, given the name "Fiesole," which is a town near Florence, Italy, renowned for its art and architecture. As a hotel, it would offer various guest rooms, potentially with unique decor and amenities. However, specific details on room features (e.g., in-room entertainment, coffee makers, mini-fridges) are not broadly detailed in general online information. The hotel's prominent feature is its capacity as an event venue, capable of hosting weddings, banquets, and other gatherings. This would include dedicated spaces for receptions, dining, and ceremonies. The on-site restaurant is a significant feature, offering specific cuisine (implied to be Italian) and potentially a curated wine list. The customer review mentioning a "Tequila Loco tequila/food pairing event" and anticipation for a "bourbon tasting" suggests that the hotel actively hosts special culinary and beverage-focused events, adding to its feature set beyond standard dining. Parking is identified as a feature, though with caveats as discussed in customer feedback.
Promotional information for Hotel Fiesole would likely emphasize its unique charm, event capabilities, and dining experiences. Given its role as a popular event venue, promotions might include special packages for weddings, corporate meetings, or celebratory events. For hotel guests, promotions could involve seasonal rates, weekend getaways, or packages that combine accommodation with dining experiences at Ristorante Fiesole. The successful tequila/food pairing event suggests that the hotel actively engages in promoting special culinary experiences. It is advisable for prospective guests or event planners to contact the hotel directly at (610) 222-8009 or +1 610-222-8009 to inquire about current rates, availability for specific dates, and any ongoing promotional offers. Information regarding loyalty programs or discounts for repeat customers is not consistently detailed in general online searches, but direct inquiry would clarify this. The hotel's website or social media channels would be the primary source for the most up-to-date promotional campaigns.
Customer reviews offer valuable insights into the actual guest experience. One detailed review, from a person who had hosted and attended multiple events, highlighted both positives and negatives. Positively, the "wait staff has been friendly and accommodating - no issues." This consistent praise for staff professionalism and demeanor is a strong asset. The "Beautiful building and location" also received commendation. However, significant "cons" were raised. Parking was a notable issue: "If there is an event in Skippack the vendors set up in the parking lot. Patrons must use the upper parking lot (difficult for our senior) or pay to park." This indicates a potential challenge for guests, especially those with mobility issues, during peak event times in the village. The reviewer was "very disappointed" with the Mother's Day Brunch, detailing a decline in quality. Specific criticisms included the buffet being "in the doorway," cold and seemingly microwaved pancakes, cold and small salmon portions, lack of butter for green beans or bread, cold quiche, and flavorless pasta. The reviewer also noted the absence of a fresh fruit bowl despite it being listed on the menu. While eggs Benedict, bacon, sausage, and desserts were deemed "good," the overall experience was not considered "worth $60 per person," leading them to "pass for next year." This review suggests a decline in food quality for large-scale buffet events, which is a significant point for potential diners or event hosts to consider.
In contrast, another review provided a highly positive account of a "Tequila Loco tequila/food pairing event." The attendee described the drinks as "outstanding," the host (Victor) as "great," and the food as "delicious and interesting." The staff were praised for being "very attentive and worked hard to put this together to get the food and drinks out at the same time." This reviewer was enthusiastic about future events, stating, "I can’t wait for the bourbon tasting!!" This review highlights the hotel's success in executing specialized, smaller-scale culinary events with high quality and attentive service. The contrasting nature of these two reviews is important. It suggests that while the hotel excels in certain areas, particularly with specific, well-executed events and attentive staff, larger-scale buffet-style offerings might not consistently meet guest expectations. The "Beautiful building and location" remains a consistent positive.
In conclusion, for those searching "Hotels Near Me" in the Collegeville area, Hotel Fiesole offers a unique experience characterized by its beautiful building and charming location on Skippack Pike. It functions both as an accommodation provider and a significant event venue, featuring an on-site restaurant. While staff attentiveness and the execution of specific, well-curated culinary events receive high praise, potential guests and event planners should be mindful of past criticisms regarding the quality and organization of larger buffet-style dining events and potential parking challenges, especially when village events are taking place. Direct communication with the hotel is recommended to ascertain the most current information regarding services, room features, event capabilities, and dining options, ensuring an informed decision for their stay or event.

May 14, 2025 · Jane RI attended the Tequila Loco tequila/ food pairing event at the hotel last week and it was terrific! The drinks La made were outstanding, and the host, Victor, was great. The food was delicious and interesting. The staff were very attentive and worked hard to put this together to get the food and drinks out at the same time. I can’t wait for the bourbon tasting!! 🥃
May 09, 2025 · Katy McGettiganHere to set the record straight. Very clean very comfortable rooms. Rooms have a vintage style decor however very clean. The large cabinet that the television is stored in, may not be necessary and takes up a lot of space in the rooms. Recommend mounting the TV on the wall to give more space in the rooms. Rooms were quiet and very comfortable. Beds were amazing. Perfect location. Continental breakfast was a tad disappointing as it mainly consisted of grab and go granola bars and yogurt rather than hot food. Overall fantastic experience.
May 11, 2025 · Jake SimpsonGerry and her team were absolutely amazing! We booked space at Hotel Fiesole for my sisters bridal shower, and our expectations were exceeded! The food was exceptional, the drinks prepared by Mary were amazing also. I could not recommend this space more!
Apr 27, 2025 · Erica TriantafilouPerfection at all levels!!! Communications with all involved were welcoming and thoughtful. From the front desk conversations with Connie and Donna, the Chef, and the amazing event coordinator La, and Manager Jay. ( please forgive any misspells on names ) Every request made was given complete consideration and brought to life with care and beautiful attitudes. There is no question the entire Fiesole staff love what they do, and do it well, with skill and kindness. The perfect foundation for fabulous memories.
