If you don't have time for breakfast and just want something quick then you better bring it with you. I just wanted a bagel, but you had to purchase the whole thing for $9. I bought a hit pocket ham n cheese for 4 n cooked it in my room. I left the hotel at 8am, did not check out, returned 10am to find that housekeeping had stripped the beds and taken the towels. You also need to know the only way you get housekeeping is to request it at front dest.

Guests frequently comment on the "very nice" lobby area, noting that the renovations have done a "nice job" in creating a welcoming first impression. The lobby features a spacious seating area, ideal for relaxation or informal meetings. There's also a small convenience shop for quick needs and an inviting bar area. For guests seeking fresh air, an outdoor seating area is available. While specific details about room renovations might vary, the overall impression is that the common areas provide a modern and aesthetically pleasing atmosphere. The hotel aims for a comfortable and practical setting, catering to both individual travelers and groups. Its location on Cresson Blvd offers convenient access to major routes while still providing a relatively calm environment.

Services: Attentive Staff & Essential Conveniences

The service at Hilton Garden Inn Valley Forge/Oaks is often highlighted for its attentiveness and helpfulness. Reviewers consistently praise the staff as "very friendly and attentive." The hotel offers a 24-hour front desk, ensuring that assistance is always available. A notable aspect of the hotel's service, as highlighted by a customer review, is the "request-only" housekeeping policy. Guests need to request housekeeping services at the front desk, which can be a key piece of information for planning their stay. This approach aims to respect guest privacy and preferences. The hotel also provides complimentary wired and wireless internet access throughout the property, ensuring guests can stay connected. For those who require quick access to funds, an ATM is available on-site. The hotel is pet-friendly, welcoming dogs and cats with a non-refundable fee (USD 75 for 1-4 nights, USD 125 for 5+ nights) and a weight limit of up to 75 lbs per pet, with service animals exempt from fees. This feature is particularly beneficial for travelers who prefer to bring their companions.

Features: Comfort, Recreation & Dining Options

The Hilton Garden Inn Valley Forge/Oaks is equipped with a range of features designed to enhance guest comfort and convenience. Each of the 135 air-conditioned rooms includes amenities such as refrigerators, microwaves, and flat-screen TVs with premium channels. Work desks are provided, along with ergonomic chairs, making it easy for business travelers to stay productive. Coffee/tea makers are also standard in rooms. While some guests have noted that the 2 Queen rooms might be on the "smaller side" compared to other hotels, they are generally found to be "fine for our needs." Feedback on pillows and bed frames suggests that these might be areas for future updates, but guests have found workarounds. A key positive feature highlighted is the "spacious bathroom and excellent shower pressure," ensuring a refreshing experience.

Recreational amenities include an indoor pool and a fitness center. The indoor pool, while described as "small," is deemed "sufficient if there aren't more than 10-15 people using it," making it suitable for a refreshing dip. The fitness center is noted as "practical and provides decent space," allowing guests to maintain their workout routines. For dining, the hotel features an on-site restaurant, The Garden Grille & Bar, which typically serves breakfast and dinner. While the full breakfast often comes with a charge (as indicated by a review about needing to purchase "the whole thing for $9" rather than individual items), it provides a convenient option for guests. The bar area, though noted for its potentially high pricing on drinks by one reviewer, offers a pleasant setting for evening relaxation. Additionally, there’s a 24-hour Pavilion Pantry convenience store for snacks and essential items. For business needs, the hotel provides a 24-hour business center and flexible meeting rooms, including a ballroom, spanning approximately 1,650 square feet of event space capable of hosting up to 100 people.

We stayed at this hotel for two nights for a nearby dance competition at the Greater Philly Expo Center. The lobby area is very nice. Upon checking in, we were told it was recently renovated and they really did a nice job. There is a spacious seating area, a small convenience shop, the bar, and an outdoor seating area. There may have been some meeting rooms/ballrooms but we didn't venture into that area. We also did not eat breakfast or dinner at the hotel. The pool and fitness center are about what you'd expect for a traveler's hotel. The indoor pool is small, but sufficient if there aren't more than 10-15 people using it. The fitness center is practical and provides decent space. We stayed in a 2 Queen room and it was on the smaller side compared to other hotels we've stayed in but, again, it was fine for our needs. I completely agree with the reviewers who mentioned the pillows and bed frames. We had a good laugh at how sad the pillows were but, thanks to the reviews, we brought our own. Hopefully the rooms get a renovation next and these items are updated. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Our mini-fridge did not work when we arrived and a quick text to the front desk solved that issue. By the time we returned from the competition, the fridge was so cold some stuff had started to freeze! The bathroom is spacious and the shower pressure is excellent. Nothing is worse than trying to shower with what amounts to a trickle and these showers were definitely not that. The location of the hotel is excellent for events at the Expo Center. If you turn left leaving the property and stay on Mill Road, you can loop right around to the backside of Hall B. There's a nearby Target, movie theater, and a ton of restaurants. Despite all these good things, I have one word of caution - avoid the bar. While it's a very nice area, I haven't seen pricing like theirs anywhere other than NYC and the prices aren't really advertised. We had 4 small glasses of Buffalo Trace and a Shirley Temple - $90. I know things are always marked up at a hotel but $20+ per pour of this particular bourbon is a bit outrageous. With these things in mind, we would definitely return to this property if we have another event in the area.

Love the friendly staff. Breakfast is convenient and great but a little pricey and is purchased separately so a better deal if you add it in while booking the room. Rooms are safe, clean and comfortable, indoor pool, hot tub, business center, gym, laundry facilities and a lively bar in the evening. Perfect for solo business travelers and social butterflies. I highly recommend.

Booked a suite for the weekend with our children so they can swim. Spent over 400 just for the pool to be closed. I get things happen but when the front desk told us the pool was closed the first thing they did was offer money back to go somewhere else. Will rethink booking here again this is the 2nd year in a row we came to this hotel . First year was amazing. But the staff member made us feel like we are being pushed out.

Stayed here this past weekend while visiting my mom in Valley Forge. It seems to be a newer hotel so the facilities were all top notch. The desk clerk was super nice and always helpful. The security seemed great. Food selections, and the restaurant choices were always good. If you're going to Valley Forge, this is a good place to stay.
