The staff at the front desk was friendly. When I walked in it was food all over the floor. The room was spacious and clean.. the bathroom had mold in the shower tile. And it was a big spider in there. I came to this highly recommend hotel for the heated pool. The water was cold the pool floor was dirty. Trash on the floor. cleaning staff not to friendly the are standoffs. It wasn’t what I expected I had my hopes up high. It was trash in the hallway when I arrived and the same as leaving. Idk f I’ll go back.

Element Valley Forge King of Prussia Introduce

For local users searching on "Hotels Near Of Me," Element Valley Forge King of Prussia presents itself as a notable option in the vibrant King of Prussia, Pennsylvania area. Located at 110 Goddard Blvd, King of Prussia, PA 19406, USA, with contact numbers (610) 873-7200 and +1 610-873-7200, this hotel aims to cater to both short-term visitors and long-term guests, providing a range of services designed for comfort and convenience.

Environment and Location:

Element Valley Forge King of Prussia boasts a prime location in a highly desirable part of Pennsylvania. The surrounding neighborhood is consistently praised for its appeal and accessibility. Critically, the hotel is situated just down the street from two major landmarks: Valley Forge National Historical Park and the King of Prussia Mall. Valley Forge, renowned as the birthplace of the nation's formal military and encompassing miles of national park reserve, offers historical significance and ample outdoor recreational opportunities. Meanwhile, the King of Prussia Mall, recognized as the second-largest mall in America, provides an unparalleled shopping, dining, and entertainment experience. This proximity makes the hotel an ideal base for those looking to explore the area's rich history or indulge in retail therapy. The general ambiance of the area is pleasant, contributing to a positive stay for guests.

Services and Staff:

The hotel strives to provide good service, with staff members generally described as pleasant and welcoming. Renata, the General Manager, is frequently highlighted for her pleasant personality and her dedication to going the extra mile for guests. Marvin, the culinary manager, is noted for his professionalism and friendly demeanor, making the morning lobby experience enjoyable for many. The staff is also reported to be efficient in handling guest packages. While the general sentiment regarding staff interaction is positive, there have been instances where services, particularly housekeeping, have fallen short of expectations. Some long-term guests have reported inconsistencies in room servicing, requiring them to proactively request basic amenities like clean towels and toilet paper. Additionally, while the hotel offers laundry facilities, the limited number of machines (three washers and three dryers for a 100-room property) and reported technical issues can be a source of inconvenience for guests.

Features and Amenities:

Element Valley Forge King of Prussia is an extended-stay hotel, meaning its rooms are designed to offer more than just a typical hotel room. Guests can expect spacious accommodations, often including kitchenettes with appliances, which is a significant advantage for longer stays. However, some guests have noted initial issues with in-room appliances, such as rusted garbage disposals and damaged dishwasher parts, although maintenance is generally responsive in eventually addressing these concerns. The hotel promotes a heated pool as a key amenity, though some guest feedback indicates that the water temperature can be cold and the pool area may not always be immaculately clean. Breakfast is offered, described as "nice" but with limited options and slow replenishment, especially on weekends when items tend to run out quickly. Another area of concern for guests, particularly during busier periods (Thursday to Sunday), is parking availability. While there are spots directly in front of the hotel, there's no prioritization for specific guests. Additional parking to the side is limited, and a larger shared parking area with the adjacent Sheraton property, which frequently hosts events, can lead to significant parking challenges, sometimes requiring guests to park a considerable distance away.

Promotional Information and Guest Experience:

The Element brand, part of Marriott, is often described as a "scaled down version of a Westin hotel," generally implying a focus on modern design and eco-conscious practices. For users searching on "Hotels Near Of Me," the hotel's appeal lies in its extended-stay format, which can be particularly beneficial for business travelers, families, or anyone planning a longer visit to the King of Prussia area. The availability of in-room kitchens can help guests save on dining expenses and offer a sense of home. The pet-friendly policy, which is often a feature of Element hotels, would be another significant draw for travelers with companions. While the hotel aims for a high standard, real customer reviews offer a mixed perspective. Some guests have experienced cleanliness issues in public areas and rooms upon arrival, including food on the floor and mold in bathrooms, as well as the presence of insects. These instances suggest potential inconsistencies in housekeeping standards. Despite these challenges, the convenient location near major attractions and the efforts of key staff members like Renata and Marvin contribute positively to the guest experience. For long-term stays, while the hotel offers amenities like laundry and kitchens, some guests have felt that other properties might be a better fit due to the aforementioned issues with room servicing, laundry facilities, and maintenance response times. It's important for prospective guests to consider these varied experiences when making their decision, especially for extended visits.

In summary, Element Valley Forge King of Prussia offers a well-located option for visitors to the King of Prussia area, especially those seeking extended-stay amenities. While it boasts friendly staff and a convenient position near key attractions, potential guests should be aware of reported inconsistencies in maintenance, housekeeping, and parking, which might impact the overall experience, particularly for longer stays.

This hotel is located in a nice part of Pennsylvania - King of Prussia. The neighborhood is great. It's right down the street from Valley Forge - the birthplace of our nation's formal military and home to many square miles of national park reserve. It's also right down the street from the King of Prussia mall - the second largest mall in America. The service is pretty good and the staff tries to be pleasant to all their guests. Renata, the GM, always has a pleasant personality that welcomes you in and she strives to go the extra mile. Marvin, the culinary manager is very professional, yet friendly, and makes you look forward to go spend time in the lobby in the morning. Staff are also quick to give me my packages when I have them delivered. Unfortunately, this is where the star rating ends. I am staying here long term (over a five month period as part of corporate travel). When I first checked in, I was told that we would have our room serviced bi-weekly (every three days). However, there have been times where we don't have our room serviced for days or weeks until we have to say something to the staff to get our cycle back on track (think basics like clean towels, toilet paper, etc). While breakfast is nice, it's very limited and on the weekend, it runs out of everything quick and replenishment is SLOW. Additionally, parking availability here is pretty abominable during the busier parts of the week (Thu - Sun) and although there is a row of parking right in front of the hotel's front wall, there is no prioritization on who gets it (think maybe they would reserve this for their top tier rewards members?). Additional parking to the side of the hotel's perimeter is limited, and then there's a big sea of spots further away that is shared by the accompanying Sheraton property adjacent to our hotel which hosts events all the time, so good luck getting parking there, especially if you come back later than around 5 pm to the hotel. (Long workdays for me are frequent, so this later-than-5 pm return is a common situation for me). I've had to park probably a quarter mile away (on the far side of the Sheraton) in overflow parking before at 10 pm at night in order to return to my hotel. For someone who is a long-term guest, this doesn't really make a lot of sense. The facilities are not old, but they're not new. When I first arrived, my garbage disposal was rusted out inside and the dishwasher had a piece of the water spray arm on the bottom melted off. Maintenance did eventually replace both, but only after arguing with me that it's hard to replace because it costs money. I even went so far as to buy garbage disposal and dishwasher cleaning tabs and packets to show them I did my part before calling them to ask for a fix. More often, when things break, it can be days or weeks before you see someone from maintenance finally implement a repair or fix. To add salt to the wound, I went down this morning to do my laundry (two loads worth, since we've been very busy). There are only THREE washers and THREE dryers available to the entire property (for a hotel with 100 rooms, this, again, doesn't make a whole lot of sense). Unfortunately, after loading my laundry in one of the three dryers, the dryer stopped working after the first two minutes, with the LED screen displaying a "machine error." When I went to the front desk agent to report what happened and ask for a resolution, she said she would email the GM who would be in later to ask for a refund for me, and attempted to call maintenance to see if someone could come fix it, but, as you probably guessed, wasn't able to get in touch with anyone. I'm now out two cycles worth of payments for the dryer and have to wait for an hour for the other two dryers to get done before I can stick my clothes in a working dryer to get them dry. Overall, the Element is a scaled down version of a Westin hotel, which is one of the nicer Marriott properties, but it seems that for a long-term stay, you might be better off at another property.

Received terrible all-around service. A business colleague and I came to check into the hotel after having rooms reserved for over a month. They only had one room available. My colleague had to go try and find another room at 10 PM at night. The room that I got was not even cleaned, and the air conditioner is not working there’s tools in the room. They’re obviously were working on the air conditioner. I went back to front desk and all they could do was either comp me fully for the room and I leave without a room or give me 50% off they had no other rooms available. There was an attitude of not even caring about the situation. Will never stay here again. Pick another hotel.

When we arrived they assigned us a room, we dragged our stuff up, entered the room only to have a man yell " yes?!" We apologized and backed away. We headed back down to the desk to get another room where we were treated like we were the problem here. No apology. Sent to another room....back up four floors with our stuff to find that they had downgraded us to a smaller room with smaller kitchenette and only one bed when we needed two. But the third room worked out at least. Always lock your hotel door!

I'm writing this review cause I had a booking in this hotel that I wasn't aware of. We had thought that we had booked at a different hotel and end up finding out that we had a booking from May 10 until 11th cause we received a receipt for the stay that we never did. We was confused cause the dates that we was supposed to had booking for a room was for May 31st until June 1st for my son basketball tournament. I called multiple times yesterday throughout the day to speak to management and to discuss the matter and totally blow my off all day from calling me or speaking with me. I also sent the management a email to discuss this matter and see if they can fix this to at least give us the stay for above dates but no response. BE AWARE IF YOU EVER TO A MISTAKE LIKE THIS WITH THIS HOTEL CAUSE YOU MIGHT JUST HAVE TO TAKE THE LOST.....
