Rooms and facility were clean. Showing it's age. Main elevator inoperable so used staff elevator. Not inconvenient but well worn. Biggest complaint was that the streaming services were "down" for our entire stay. I have never encountered this anywhere else. No pool. Would probably not stay here again unless in a pinch.

The immediate surroundings are characterized by a bustling commercial landscape, with other hotels, restaurants, and retail establishments. While the location is ideal, guest reviews indicate that the facility itself is "showing its age." This suggests that while the property is kept "clean," some aspects of its infrastructure might be "well worn" or "outdated." This can manifest in issues such as inoperable main elevators, requiring guests to use "staff elevator" which may appear "scary looking" or "unprofessional." Despite these occasional challenges, the hotel's prime location remains a consistent positive for most visitors, placing them at the heart of King of Prussia's commercial activity.
The Fairfield Inn Philadelphia Valley Forge/King of Prussia strives to provide a range of essential services to ensure a satisfactory guest experience. A highlight for many guests is the "complimentary hot deluxe continental breakfast," which offers a convenient and cost-effective start to the day. Guests often praise the variety and quality of the breakfast, noting "good food choices" and fresh coffee. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the property, keeping guests connected for both business and leisure. However, a significant reported issue has been that "streaming services were 'down'" for an entire stay, and in one extreme case, the hotel "lost electrical power" without proper communication or accommodation for guests, leading to significant inconvenience. The front desk staff is frequently described as "friendly," "cordial," "welcoming," and "helpful," with some guests specifically commending individuals for going "above and beyond" to assist with late check-out or other requests. Free self-parking is provided on-site, a valuable amenity in a busy area. The hotel also offers laundry facilities, a 24-hour business center, and meeting rooms, catering to the needs of business travelers. While a local area shuttle is advertised, its availability or frequency isn't consistently highlighted in recent reviews. Overall, the hotel aims to deliver the standard services expected of a Marriott Fairfield Inn, though consistency in operational readiness (e.g., elevators, internet) appears to be an area for improvement.

Issues such as a "bathroom sink wouldn’t drain" or a "ceiling in bathroom was falling down" suggest occasional maintenance lapses. Despite mentions of "premium TV channels" and "streaming services," guests have reported these being inoperable, impacting in-room entertainment options. The hotel is equipped with a fitness center, providing a space for guests to maintain their workout routines. It is explicitly stated that there is "No pool" at this location, which is a key distinction from some other Fairfield Inn properties or competitor hotels in the area. May 16, 2025 · Thomas FarringtonExtremely Disappointed in Fairfield Inn Marriott My recent stay at the Fairfield Inn by Marriott was nothing short of frustrating and disappointing. Upon arrival, we were informed that the elevator was inoperable. The second day we discovered that the hotel had lost electrical power. Despite this significant issue, there was no communication or effort made to accommodate us properly. We relocated to another hotel what a huge inconvenience this caused my family. The main elevator was out of service, and all guests including those with luggage, mobility issues, or families were forced to use the service/employee elevator, which was incredibly inconvenient and unprofessional. To make matters worse, our bathroom sink wouldn’t drain, a clear indication of poor maintenance and lack of proper room checks before guest arrival. These issues are unacceptable, especially at a Marriott-branded property where a certain level of service and quality is expected. While the location of the hotel is ideal, that’s about the only positive I can mention. The overall service, mechanical failures, and maintenance neglect made this stay a regrettable experience. I expect much better from Marriott, and unfortunately, this location failed on nearly every front.
Apr 14, 2025 · Masterpiece DeeWe like this hotel. Big room, good bed, extra sofa, two bedside tables for both sides of the bed, with USB ports and sockets for electronics, which is very comfortable and not in all hotels where we stayed. We travel pretty often. Breakfast included, checkout at 12 pm. Next to the hotel is a huge mall, 5 min to walk from the hotel.
Mar 29, 2025 · Anzhelika ChumakI have stayed at this location three times within a year, and each time, the common areas were very warm because they keep the AC off in the hallways and elevators. The beds were not comfortable in the rooms. Overall, I would give a rating of 5 out of 10. I would also say that this location is not kid-friendly based on the clientele that comes and goes. Additionally, the walls are very thin, if you know what I mean. It is a great location for many reasons.
Mar 12, 2025 · Ray BryantThe people and the service at this hotel is AMAZING! Lawrence the General Manager has such a kind and sweet energy about him. His gracious greetings and helpfulness were second to none! It seems he wouldn’t ask his employees to do something he’s not willing to do himself…he was working the front desk, delivered an iron to my room, checking on people, moving constantly and always with a smile on his face! I will 100% stay here for work again.
